Alex was a great car host. He set up the blue tooth and showed me all the things about his car. The price was right and great gas mileage. He dropped the car off right where I was staying. I highly recommend!

My experience with Pacific North Coast Car Rentals was fantastic from start to finish. The car was perfect for helping me transport my elderly mother, and I received it in immaculate condition. Pick up and drop off were seamless. But most notable was the customer service. PNC responded almost immediately to every text and question I had, no matter how small or frequent my requests. All communication was respectful, responsive, and timely. I really appreciate how easy it was to rent from them and how attentive they were to my needs. I will definitely be coming back on my next trip to Vancouver.

Booked for 10 AM. They were kind enough to bring the car a 1 hour early. The car showed up clean and an immaculate shape. The drop off went very smooth. It’s Chevy’s Version of a Go Kart. Does it turn heads? No. But, when you’re paying $28 for half a tank of gas in when prices of gas are sky rocketing in Vancouver and you go almost 200 km? You don’t complain. The car easily held its own on the highway too. You really can’t do worse if you’re looking for a cheap way to get around. Abel

Fantastic little car, easy to drive and affordable to fuel up. Bit tricky to collect car keys because of roadclosures (until july 1st) but managed.

The car was clean, in good condition and comfortable. At home I drive a mercedes and Marv's Trailblazer handled just as well and was as equally pleasurable to drive. Marv advised us of an issue with the sound system where it made a loud noise on occasion, but said it was still OK to use - we didn't use it because as unfamiliar drivers in the area we didn't want to get startled by it. Marv didn't mention if the vehicle had GPS and we didn't want to mess with the controls, so we used our phones to navigate, which was fine because there was always at least two people in the car so one could navigate. We only needed the vehicle to drive locally as we weren't there as tourists/vacationers, so we didn't do any long distances, but on the short trips we made daily we had no issues with the vehicle at all. Marv was very easy to deal with, friendly and helpful, also flexible in suggesting that he could collect the car up from us at an alternate location if needed. Two comments that may help other renters, but are in no way complaints: The airport parking token system was confusing to us. It was something we had never encountered and I don't recall Marv mentioning it. We weren't familiar with using tokens for parking, so ended up having to pay the full rate for parking so we could leave the garage. Later we noticed a small round plastic object in the cup holder that could have been a token to pay for parking, even though it had no markings on it so suggest what it was for. Since we hadn't used it, we kept the token as a momento of our wonderful trip. A second pointer is for anyone with odour allergies or scent sensitivities as I do. Marv does use scented air fresheners in his vehicle so you may want to ask him to remove them before your rental starts. I kept the windows open - it was rainy, but it was the best solution for me as I wasn't comfortable removing something that didn't belong to me. I know that we could have called Marv any time to deal with these things and he would have been quick to respond and very helpful, but they were only minor details that we didn't want to bother him with. Neither of these factors should be a deterrant, the overall experience was very good and much better than renting from traditional car rental companies, and as a bonus, the bright colour of this vehicle made it really easy to find on a parking lot, or telling people you're picking up to look for the bright blue car. This is my first Turo rental and after renting from Marv I'll never go back to renting from traditional rental companies. Next time I'm in Vancouver I will definitely book with Marv again.
