Sheldon’s very friendly and accomodating which made my trip incredibly easy. If I ever need to rent a car again, Sheldon’s the guy!

I had a great experience renting from Sheldon. The vehicle was exactly as described, clean, well-maintained, and ran perfectly throughout my trip. Communication was excellent from start to finish, with clear instructions for pickup and drop-off. Sheldon was friendly, responsive, and made the entire rental process smooth and hassle-free. I would definitely rent from him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable Turo host.
The car was great, maybe only precise the gas required for the car before the trip and give the information once the reservation is made.
Rent a Tesla with FSD with them for the road trip. Best decision ever! Instructions are clear and hand over, including giving us access thru app, is fuss free. Love the service for making the rental extremely straightforward.
Alex was a great car host. He set up the blue tooth and showed me all the things about his car. The price was right and great gas mileage. He dropped the car off right where I was staying. I highly recommend!

Feng was a fantastic host. The car was clean, exactly as described, and had no issues throughout the entire trip. Communication was excellent—he was very responsive and flexible with the checkout time, which made the rental experience smooth and stress-free. I would definitely rent from Feng again and highly recommend him to other Turo guests.

This mazda is great! It was clean, drove well, and was very easy to find. The host Shaun is very friendly and made sure that I had a good experience. It wad a great deal and will definitely rent this car again.
Timothy was a fantastic host! Very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire trip. The car was clean, in great condition, and exactly as described. Great host and a great vehicle. Communication was quick and clear throughout the trip. I unfortunately had a minor incident during the rental, and the host was understanding, professional, and very helpful throughout the process. I really appreciated their calm and supportive attitude. Would happily rent from them again. Highly recommended!
Pick up was easy. Communication was simple and the car itself was fab. I'd recommend getting FSD for the trip as it really was fun to see it work on the Canadian roads. Good car and decent rental price.
Great experience overall! The car was clean, easy to find, and the whole pickup/drop-off process was super smooth and convenient. The host was very responsive and helpful. Really enjoyed the trip — would definitely rent again!
Great host! The car was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Communication was quick and easy throughout the trip. Pickup and drop-off were smooth. I would definitely rent from this host again. Highly recommended!

Car was super comfy for a long trip, and with a lot of room. Ramin was incredibly honest and communicative, would rent again!
From the reservation process to pick-up, everything was smooth, and the drive was comfortable.

I had an absolutely amazing experience renting from Viviana. I had booked this vehicle very last minute due to my Hellcat being in the shop. She was incredibly accommodating with my booking changes throughout my trip and went out of her way to make everything smooth and stress free. Both pickup and drop off were super easy and convenient. The Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack is an absolute blast to drive, super fast, incredibly smooth, and just fun. It’s a true performance vehicle, so it really shines on the road. Just a heads up, the range is on the lower side if you’re planning longer highway trips, so plan your charging stops accordingly. But for everything else, this car delivers. Would definitely rent from Viviana again and highly recommend this car for anyone who wants an exciting EV driving experience!
This car is in such good condition, clean, fuel efficient and economical to rent. So far the best car I have rented.
Excellent car! Very clean, smooth to drive, and well maintained. Had a great trip with no issues at all. Highly recommended, and I would gladly rent it again.”

Lovely host and super communicative! The car was dropped off right in front of my building and I had no issues with the car during the trip. I would definitely rent it again.
Great host, helped me get from the drop off back to my friend's place after I dropped off the car. My second time with this host. I plan to use this host every time I rent a car in Vancouver.
After touching down at Vancouver Intl Airport, exit the main terminal and follow the signs to the Parkade (a multi-level, covered parking lot). Head up to Level 3, where you'll find your YVR rental car ready and waiting for you. By booking on Turo, you can skip the hassle and queues of the Vancouver airport car rental counters and secure the keys to your rental car once you land. To exit the terminal parking, use the ticket your Turo host has left in the vehicle for you.
Prior to your arrival at Vancouver International Airport, you can contact your Turo host via the Turo app to confirm exactly where to find your car. That way, once you make the short walk from the terminal to the Parkade parking lot, you know exactly what parking space to look for on Level 3. Plus, when you're returning your car at the end of your booking, use Turo messaging to confirm exactly where you've parked the car, including the parking stall number.
At Vancouver International Airport, Turo is required to collect and remit to the airport a fee that allows your host to deliver a vehicle there. But Turo doesn't set this fee, mark it up or retain any portion of it. If your host requires you to cover the costs of parking fees at YVR, this will be disclosed on the vehicle listing for full transparency and no unexpected surprises.

Contactless check-in and checkout
Many hosts offer contactless check-in and checkout, if their car has remote access technology, allowing you to find the car, unlock it, and be on your way without meeting them in person. Message your host for specific instructions.

Convenient airport car rental pickup and return
Rather than hustling at the busy terminal curbside, take your time picking up the rental car at approved parking lots or garages. Check in, load up your luggage, and get comfortable with the car without a big rush.

Relax with support & damage protection
24/7 support and roadside assistance mean help is just a call away, plus you can choose from a range of protection plans.

One of Vancouver’s most iconic spots, Stanley Park offers breathtaking views, lush forests, and long stretches of seawall for walking or cycling. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers, this park is just a short 10-minute drive from Vancouver's city centre with an abundance of parking options perfect for drivers.
A bustling cultural hub, Granville Island features unique markets, artsy boutiques, and delicious eateries, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists. Located in the heart of Vancouver's city centre, accessing Granville Island by car is easy from main roads such as Granville St Bridge, 4th Avenue and Burrard St. While parking can be limited, there are EV charging stations on the main level of the Old Bridge Street Indoor Lot if you're renting an electric car.
Known as the "Peak of Vancouver," Grouse Mountain is a must-see destination packed with year-round activities, including hiking, skiing, and wildlife encounters. Looking for the best YVR car rental? The Vancouver Airport is the perfect pickup and drop off location for your BC adventure. Driving in Vancouver is a leisurely experience, with no major highways or freeways to contend with. If you're looking to maximize your time in BC, venture beyond Downtown Vancouver and soak in nearby natural attractions, keep these top tips in mind when renting a car in Vancouver on Turo.
Unlike a traditional rental car company, Turo provides a seamless airport pickup experience at Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
Your rental car will be picked up from Parkade, a multi-level covered parking lot located just a short walk from the airport terminal. Check the Turo app for specific instructions on where to find your rental car, and use the parking ticket left in your vehicle by your host to exit the terminal parking.
For a smooth YVR car rental drop-off, return your rental vehicle to the same place you picked up your car at the Vancouver International Airport (Level 3 of the Parkade terminal parking lot). Make sure to leave the parking ticket inside the vehicle for your host and use the Turo app to confirm exactly where you've parked the rental car on Level 3.
Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is about a 20-minute drive from downtown Vancouver depending on traffic. This short distance makes it easy for travellers to access the city’s vibrant neighbourhoods, scenic waterfronts, and cultural attractions.
Driving in Vancouver follows standard road rules in British Columbia, such as all drivers and passengers wearing a seat belt at all times. Drivers must stay on the right side of the road and carry a valid driver's license. Speed limits typically range from 30km/h in school and playground zones to 50 km/h on city roads.
Additionally, distractions such as mobile phone use are strictly prohibited, helping maintain safe road conditions. As an active city, expect to see plenty of cyclists on the roads of Vancouver. Always give cyclists plenty of room and use caution when sharing the road.
Plus, as a friendly, welcoming city, it's common practice for drivers to give way to pedestrians at pedestrian crossings.
Parking in Vancouver offers a mix of street parking and convenient garages, though it can be challenging to find a spot in some popular tourist areas (such as Granville Island). Expect to find time-limited, metered parking on Vancouver's city centre streets.
Plus, there are plenty of secure parking lots dotted across Downtown Vancouver, including the Vancouver Convention Centre Parking Lot, Royal Centre Parking Lot and Harbour Centre Parking Lot.
For those exploring areas like North Vancouver or downtown Richmond, finding parking becomes more manageable with larger lots and more affordable pricing for longer stays.
Fortunately, Vancouver does not currently have toll roads. This makes driving to and from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) or exploring other destinations within British Columbia free of additional fees, making YVR.
Vancouver is equipped with numerous gas stations and an expanding network of EV chargers to accommodate both traditional and electric vehicles. For gas, locations like Shell on Marine Drive, Petro-Canada on Mountain Highway, and Chevron near Granville Street provide convenient refuelling stops.
EV drivers can use stations at locations like Queen Elizabeth Park and False Creek, offering Level 2 and DC fast chargers. For those who opted for YVR car rental, Vancouver International Airport (YVR) also features charging stations to ensure seamless travel for anyone renting an electric vehicle.
Whether you're flying into Vancouver International Airport (YVR) for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, YVR car rental alternatives offer unmatched flexibility. Public transportation is available, but having a rental car allows you to explore British Columbia’s stunning landscapes with ease, from Grouse Mountain to Capilano Suspension Bridge.
With the ability to venture beyond the city centre, secure a car rental from Vancouver Airport means you can take the scenic drive north to Squamish, Whistler or beyond for an unforgettable outdoor adventure.
