Easy process and great Vehicle. I borrowed this car as an “extended test drive” because I wanted to see how it was with out the sales pressure of a test drive. Viewed it as an investment. Would recommend.
Amazing experience! Host was super responsive and the lift is super helpful when moving
Car was great and served me well during a moving week, the tray lift certainly saved my back and the tray space was amazing!!! Will definitely use this vehicle again in the future 🤩

Amazing truck, very nice, host was very communicative and accommodating, would absolutely rent again!!!!

Fantastic car. Did what I needed. I did think there was a tow pack, from the pic it looks like there may be one but nope there wasn't. Would rent again. Super easy to find and host accommodating and helpful with my digital licence.
Handy Ute. Tailgate lifter is great. Pickup and drop off easy. Highly recommended. Thank you David.
fantastic service, great car got everything done we needed and didn't skip a beat. clean tidy reliable

Great trip, and very good car except for the fuel inlet being incredibly hard to use. It looks to be makeshift and I hurt my hand trying to refuel, it was hard to fuel up because it kept clicking off due to the almost completely horizontal angle of the inlet pipe.

Great Ute! Drove really well and Lee was easy to communicate with. Definitely book again when up this way next.
This Mazda was a beauty. New, clean and the host was super easy going and friendly AF. Will hire from Lee again
Amazing experience from start to finish! The car was awesome—clean, smooth, and exactly as described. The host was super friendly, helpful, and made everything really easy. Would definitely book again!
Well maintained vehicle. Pleasure to drive, easy pick up and drop off. Thanks guys!
Great car. Exactly what I needed. Peter was great to deal with too

Book your ute hire early on Turo to secure the best ute options for Queensland adventures, especially during peak tourist seasons. Look for vehicles with features like all-wheel drive for beach access, keyless entry for convenience, and pet-friendly options if travelling with companions. Consider utes with backup cameras and blind spot warnings for navigating Brisbane traffic safely. Choose a vehicle that matches your planned activities, whether that's city exploration, beach trips along the Gold Coast, or transporting equipment for outdoor Queensland experiences.
Utes provide excellent cargo capacity with open trays perfect for transporting furniture, appliances, and building materials around Stafford and greater Queensland. The elevated driving position offers better visibility when navigating Brisbane's busy streets, while the robust suspension handles heavy loads that regular cars cannot manage. Ute hire gives you the flexibility to tackle weekend projects, relocations, or landscaping tasks without the ongoing costs of ownership.
Utes sit higher than standard vehicles, requiring adjustment to the elevated seating position and longer braking distances when carrying heavy loads in Queensland traffic. The rear tray affects weight distribution, making the vehicle feel lighter at the back when empty, particularly noticeable on Brisbane's hilly terrain. Turning radius is typically larger than cars, so allow extra space when manoeuvring through Stafford's residential streets or Gold Coast shopping centres.
Use your mirrors extensively and take advantage of the ute's higher vantage point to judge distances when parking in Melbourne or Sydney city centres. Practise reversing in open areas before attempting tight spaces, as the extended tray length requires more room than standard vehicles. Many shopping centres across Australia now offer designated truck and ute parking bays that provide extra space for larger vehicles.
Place heavier items directly over the rear axle and secure all cargo with tie-down straps to prevent shifting during transport around Queensland roads. Distribute weight evenly across the tray width to maintain vehicle stability, especially important when travelling between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Never exceed the vehicle's payload capacity, and remember that uneven loading can affect steering and braking performance on Australia's varied road conditions.
Electronic stability control helps maintain traction when carrying loads or navigating wet conditions common in Queensland's tropical climate. Reversing cameras and parking sensors are essential given the ute's size and blind spots, particularly useful in busy areas like Stafford Heights shopping districts. Load-sensing brake systems automatically adjust braking force based on cargo weight, providing consistent stopping power whether empty or fully loaded with rental equipment.
Hardware stores and trade supply centres throughout Brisbane welcome utes with dedicated loading bays and easy access for picking up materials. The Gold Coast hinterland offers scenic drives where utes handle winding mountain roads comfortably, perfect for weekend camping trips with gear loaded in the tray. Many of Queensland's national parks provide ample parking for larger vehicles, making utes ideal for exploring Australia's natural attractions with camping equipment and outdoor gear.
