This was a great rental from pick, up to drop off, to the truck itself. Truck was delivered spotless with a full tank of gas. Perfect truck for the island. Would absolutely rent again.
Great car! Diana was a pleasure to communicate with - quick and responsive. Worth the reservation for sure

Everything went smoothly. Car was dinged up a bit but ran great and fit my family of four plus luggage and surfboards just fine. Clean on the inside and the cooler and car seat provided were top notch. Will definitely try to rent this truck again during our next visit.
Fantastic truck and the host was wonderful to us. Would rent from her again

I had 0 issues with my rental. The pick up and drop off was super convenient. Truck was clean and comfortable. Tj was very responsive when I had any questions.
Best host ever in 2 years of switching from enterprise to Turo for business and leisure trips! Recommend to Al!
Hey it’s a Chevy. Worked fine no problems. If you have an issue it’s with the manufacturer not the rental service. If I could go back I would get a lifted Tacoma. lol just to fit in. Other than that great vehicle great service would rent again.

Truck was fantastic! Host was very responsive to any questions. Very easy to pickup. I will rent this truck again if it’s available when I come back!

The truck was perfect for our trip to Lanai, the host had great communication and was even able to leave the truck for us at the airport. Would definitely rent from Doug again!

This car was amazing! Best rental truck for the price ever and the host was so amazing. Will definitely rent this truck again.
10/10 trip! Brian was easy to communicate with, and left very thorough instructions for pick-up and drop-off! Truck was clean and ready to go! We had to extend our reservation a couple of hours because of a flight change, and it was a smooth process for that as well. Great truck to your HI trip!!
The host’s communication was clear, and the truck ran well. The price was very competitive.
Berwick offers excellent access to Wilson Botanic Park, the Dandenong Ranges, and Cranbourne Royal Botanic Gardens, all easily reached by car. You can explore the historic Berwick Village with its heritage buildings and local cafes, then venture to nearby Lysterfield Park for bushwalking and lake activities. Having a rental ute gives you the freedom to discover these attractions at your own pace, plus easy access to Melbourne's southeastern suburbs and the Mornington Peninsula beyond.
This expansive botanic park showcases native Australian plants across beautifully landscaped gardens and natural bushland areas. You'll find ample parking available near the main entrance, making it convenient to explore the walking trails and picnic areas. The park's location makes it a perfect starting point for further exploration of the Dandenong foothills region.
The nearby Dandenong Ranges offer cool mountain air, charming villages, and spectacular views across Melbourne and Port Phillip Bay. Your hired ute handles the winding mountain roads with confidence while providing space for any antiques or local produce you might collect from the quaint hill towns. Several lookout points provide convenient parking for taking in the panoramic vistas.
These specialised gardens focus on Australian native plants in their natural heathland and woodland settings. The gardens feature excellent vehicle access and parking facilities, allowing you to easily transport picnic supplies or photography equipment. The site offers a completely different botanical experience from traditional manicured gardens, showcasing Victoria's diverse native flora.

Book your ute hire early on Turo to secure the best ute options for your Victorian adventures, whether you're planning furniture moving, camping trips, or general transport needs. Look for vehicles with useful features like dual cab seating for passengers, tow bars for trailers, and cargo protection for your gear. Consider utes with modern conveniences such as Apple CarPlay, backup cameras, and keyless entry to enhance your driving experience around Melbourne's southeastern region.
Utes offer exceptional versatility for exploring Victoria's diverse landscapes, from hauling camping gear to the Dandenong Ranges to transporting sporting equipment around Melbourne's outer suburbs. The elevated driving position provides excellent visibility on Berwick's mix of suburban streets and rural roads. Ute rental gives you the freedom to tackle everything from weekend home improvement projects to family adventures across the region.
Utes typically sit higher than regular vehicles, offering better road visibility but requiring adjustment to the different centre of gravity when cornering. The rear tray affects weight distribution, making the vehicle feel lighter at the back when unloaded, particularly noticeable during wet weather driving. Dual cab utes provide similar comfort to SUVs while maintaining the practical benefits of an open cargo area for your gear.
Modern utes often feature reversing cameras and parking sensors to assist with manoeuvring in tight spaces around Berwick's shopping centres and residential areas. Practice using your mirrors effectively, as the extended length requires more space for turning and parking compared to standard cars. Single cab utes are generally easier to park than dual cab models due to their shorter wheelbase.
Always distribute heavy items evenly across the tray floor and secure loads with tie-down points to prevent shifting during transport. Keep the centre of gravity low by placing heavier items towards the front of the tray, closer to the cab. Check your ute hire documentation for maximum payload limits, as exceeding these can affect handling and braking performance on Victoria's varied terrain.
Contemporary utes include advanced safety systems like electronic stability control, which helps maintain traction on wet roads common in Melbourne's climate. Many models feature multiple airbags, anti-lock braking systems, and collision avoidance technology for enhanced protection during your travels. Ute hire options often include features like hill descent control and trailer sway control for added confidence when navigating challenging conditions.
The Mornington Peninsula offers excellent ute-friendly destinations, with beaches perfect for transporting surfboards and camping equipment to coastal spots. Wilson's Promontory provides opportunities to haul hiking gear and supplies for extended stays in Victoria's stunning national parks. Van truck combinations work well for exploring the Yarra Valley wine region, where you can transport purchases and picnic supplies across the scenic countryside.
