Efficient midsize comfort with a Honda Accord Hybrid car rental

Drive an Accord Hybrid

An Accord Hybrid rental puts a 204-hp two-motor hybrid at your command, with up to 48 mpg combined and front-wheel drive. It's a midsize sedan that stretches every gallon and still pulls with 247 lb-ft of torque. Browse every Honda car rental on Turo to compare it with the rest of the lineup.

On Turo, you book your Accord Hybrid from a local vehicle owner and arrange pickup and drop-off that fit your plans. Turo is a car rental marketplace, so you choose the exact model year and trim you want, right where you need it.

Instant, efficient hybrid power

The Accord Hybrid blends a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with two electric motors for 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. An e-CVT simulates gear shifts, and Consumer Reports notes the result feels natural from behind the wheel.

You give up nothing in muscle for that efficiency. The hybrid's 204 hp tops the gas-only version's 192-hp turbo, and its fuel economy climbs to 44–48 mpg combined against an EPA rating of 32. That's more power and far fewer fill-ups on the same sedan footprint.

A cabin tuned to your phone

Your phone takes center stage in the Accord Hybrid. An available 12.3-inch touchscreen runs wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so your maps, playlists, and messages appear on screen the moment you settle in. No cable hunting, no fumbling with adapters.

Touring trims add Google built-in, which puts Google apps right in the dash — handy when you'd rather not pair a phone at all. Screens and features vary by trim, so check the listing photos and description before you book. That way, you'll know exactly which setup is waiting for you at pickup.

Driver assist on every trim

Every Accord Hybrid comes standard with a full driver-assist suite, so you get the same core safety tech whichever trim you book. It includes Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, and Lane Keeping Assist with Traffic Jam Assist.

Road Departure Mitigation and blind spot information round out the set. On a long highway stretch or a stop-and-go commute, these tools help lighten the load — though you're still the one in charge. That extra support comes in handy on roads you're seeing for the first time.

Stand out with an Accord Hybrid

An Accord Hybrid makes the most sense when you're covering real miles — on road trips, daily commutes, and business trips. Renting a hybrid pays off in fuel efficiency: Accord Hybrid trims return 44–48 mpg combined, while the EPA rates the gas-only version at 32. That gap means fewer fuel stops on the highway and less time at the pump between city meetings.

A nameplate with serious credentials

Three things set the Accord Hybrid apart: a proven nameplate, sharp handling, and space for real trips.

The Accord Hybrid carries a name with a deep track record. Drivers have bought more than 13 million Accords, and the nameplate has landed on Car and Driver's 10Best list 36 times.

For you, that history means booking a sedan millions of drivers already know well. The hybrid version layers modern efficiency onto that familiar formula, so you get a car with proven appeal and up to 48 mpg combined. It's an easy pick when you want your rental to feel like a sure thing from the first mile.

Sharp handling with a 7.0-second sprint

The Accord Hybrid drives with more verve than its fuel economy suggests. Consumer Reports highlights its finely weighted steering, minimal body roll, and eager handling feel.

Edmunds clocked a Sport-L Hybrid at 0–60 mph in 7.0 seconds in its testing. That means you can merge onto a busy freeway or pass on a two-lane road with confidence. Winding scenic routes turn into a highlight of your trip, and the efficient powertrain keeps fuel stops to a minimum along the way.

Room for real trips

The Accord Hybrid gives you space to bring what your trip needs. Its 16.7 cu ft trunk holds luggage for a weekend away or gear for a work trip.

Edmunds and Consumer Reports both note ample headroom in both rows and big door openings. Taller passengers ride comfortably, and getting in and out stays easy, even with bags in hand. With seating for five, it suits a family getaway, an airport run with colleagues, or a road trip with friends who'd rather not squeeze.

Honda Accord Hybrid 2026

It was my first time using Turo and it was a 5/5 experience! Reg was great to work with from start to finish. He reached out before our trip to see if we needed anything and was very responsive throughout. We landed at LAX at 5 AM, and he promptly messaged us with the pickup details. He even arrived at our hotel early! The drop-off process was just as smooth and easy. The car was brand new with a little over 2,000 miles on it, smelled brand new, and was very clean. It drove great and was easy to drive. Overall, everything went smoothly, and Reg made the entire experience stress-free. Would definitely book with him again!

We got off at union station and straight into the car that was waiting for us. Thank you for exceptional service and a wonderful car for our adventure.

Top tips and things to know before renting a Accord Hybrid

Get to know your Accord Hybrid

A few details about trims, driving habits, and pricing will help you pick the right Accord Hybrid and enjoy every mile.

Trims differ, so check the listing before you book: the EX-L earns 48 mpg combined, while the Sport, Sport-L, and Touring earn 44 mpg combined. Compare a gas-powered Honda Accord rental, size down with a compact Honda Civic rental, or step up to a roomier Honda CR-V rental.

Accord Hybrid driving tips

Expect a quiet start: the Accord Hybrid may power up silently in electric mode, so check the dash before you assume it's off. You can select different drive modes, so try each one to find the feel you like.

A 13-gallon tank paired with up to 48 mpg combined means fewer fuel stops on long drives. Return the car with fuel as agreed in the listing. Every trim uses front-wheel drive, so plan your trip with that in mind.

How much does it cost to rent an Accord Hybrid?

Accord Hybrid prices on Turo vary by location, dates, model year, and trim. Trip discounts may apply, and for extended stays, you can browse long-term car rental options. The hybrid's fuel efficiency also trims what you spend at the pump on road trips and city driving.
