Spent almost 2wks with this little gem of a car and host is absolutely lovely to deal with. Quick and easy pickup and drop-off. Will definitely book with Samiya again x
Kate was very easy communicating. Everything went smoothly. Car was great, in excellent condition with proper care. Will definitely rent again! Thanks Kate
The car was great to drive, and perfect for a weekend trip. Communication with Chen was very easy and straightforward, and the whole pick-up and return process went smoothly. I’d definitely recommend it.
Great quality service from filippo , car drove amazing , wonderful experience , would definitely rent again , car is well cleaned inside on arrival .
Had a really good experience! The car and the host were very good. Had the best weekend
Andy was a great host and the car was perfect for my trip. The app was not available for my phone and I did not have immediate access to my email. Andy went the extra mile and we texted at various times during the journey as Turo sent SMSes requesting my access to the app or the web portal. Andy looked after those requests for me. That level of support was a exceptional and I'd recommend Andy for anyone traveling North from Sydney as I was. A train journey to Chatswood and walk to the car and I was on my way. I wonder if the service could allow two way interaction with the Turo portal by SMS rather than requiring your hosts to intervene ? It would make the system technology agnostic and SMS works for any phone and where mobile coverage can be intermittent (Australia!). SMS is more robust. Perhaps this is an opportunity for a Turo alternative. In my case, the interaction with Andy was almost as a traveling companion as I learned about the Tesla and its features. I can't thank him enough for a great day. Five stars is for Andy.

Such a zippy little car! Loved driving it and was cleans and easy pick up. Luca was great to deal with. Would recommend!

It was such an amazing experience, best car and best host Marco was very helpful and polite, great service will come back again flr this beast✨
We drove about 600 kms in two days in this car for our trip to Jervis Bay. Host was absolutely fantastic. He was very warm and gave an intro of different features because it was our first time driving a Tesla and some things are different - the indicator stalk is on the left under the steering wheel while the drive mode selector is on the right. We had to google to figure out a few things like how to charge and how to get the charging cable to stay, how to turn on/off the headlights, etc. Range on a full charge is about 300 kms on this car on “Chill” mode. Audio was very good, map is not as good as Google Maps, while NVH levels are quite good. When we turned on the defogger, it made quite a racket inside but turning it off seemed to do the job. But, all in all, pretty happy with the experience. Andy was very responsive and polite. Cheers mate and thanks for lending the car.

Car was easy to find, interior was clean (and protected), smooth drive and overall no issues with the car. Came with multi-cable and phone holder which was a plus point.
perfect car for small parking spots fits anywhere and good customer service i would recommend hiring this car 👍
Amazing car, had a lovely day out driving down the coastal bridge and roads and the host was really helpful and kind.

Kate was a great host, she had great communication and was very accomodating and the car was perfect and ran smoothly!

A sedan, particularly from brands like Toyota or Nissan, provides a smooth ride for cruising through West Ryde's suburban streets and longer highway journeys. For those seeking a touch of luxury, a BMW could enhance your driving experience. Navigating peak hour traffic in the greater Sydney area, including West Ryde, requires some strategic planning. Morning rush typically occurs between 7-9 AM, while evening peak is from 4-6:30 PM. Consider adjusting your travel times to avoid these busy periods if possible. Major roads like Victoria Road and Epping Road can become congested, so familiarise yourself with alternative routes. Traffic apps can be invaluable for real-time updates and route suggestions. In West Ryde itself, be aware of school zones and local hotspots that may cause temporary congestion. Patience is key – Sydney traffic can be unpredictable, so allow extra time for your journeys. Remember, having your own hired car allows you to choose your departure times and routes, giving you more control over your Sydney driving experience.

Driving in West Ryde's suburban streets offers a more relaxed experience compared to Sydney's bustling city centre. In West Ryde, you'll encounter wider roads, less congestion, and more readily available parking. The pace is generally slower, allowing for a more leisurely drive. In contrast, Sydney's CBD features narrower streets, one-way systems, and more complex intersections. City driving demands heightened awareness due to increased pedestrian activity, trams, and frequent lane changes. While West Ryde has some peak hour congestion, it's typically less intense than the city centre. Parking in West Ryde is often easier and cheaper, whereas in the CBD, it can be scarce and expensive. Having your own hired car allows you to experience both environments, adapting your driving style accordingly and enjoying the flexibility to explore at your own pace.
To prepare for various weather conditions when driving in the West Ryde and Sydney region, guests should stay informed about local forecasts. Sydney's weather can be changeable, so it's wise to be ready for sudden shifts. During summer, be prepared for intense heat – ensure your vehicle's air conditioning is functioning well. In winter, mornings can be frosty, so allow extra time to defrost windows if necessary. Rain can occur year-round, so check that your windscreen wipers are in good condition. Severe thunderstorms can happen, particularly in warmer months – if caught in one, slow down and increase your following distance. Having your own hired car allows you to adjust your plans according to the weather, whether it's seeking shelter during a downpour or taking a scenic drive on a clear day.
When embarking on long-distance drives from West Ryde to other parts of New South Wales, preparation is key. Plan your route in advance, considering rest stops along the way. Take regular breaks to avoid fatigue – aim to stop every two hours or so. Stay hydrated and pack snacks for the journey. Before setting off, ensure your vehicle is in good condition – check tyre pressure, oil levels, and coolant. Be aware of wildlife, especially when driving at dawn or dusk in rural areas. Carry a physical map as a backup to GPS, as mobile coverage can be patchy in remote areas. Adapt your driving to the conditions – coastal routes might be winding, while inland roads could be long and monotonous. Having your own hired car provides the freedom to explore New South Wales at your own pace, stopping to admire views or discover hidden gems along the way.
