Really lovely people who were very accommodating when we needed to extend. Only issue was there not being any screen wash and I think a bit of miscommunication between the people getting the car ready. However, would hire again, car was great!

When this Fiat 500 works, it is incredibly fun and zippy to drive around. Unfortunately, a major mechanical issue completely overshadowed my experience w the car
The fiat randomly dropped into neutral while driving and would not go back into gear unless you turn it off, sit there for 5-10 minutes. This happened 4 to 5 times, while I was driving on busy roads. It was extremely stressful to the point I refused to drive it to work because the stress was just not worth it.
When I brought this up, I was dismissed and told I must have just "knocked it into neutral." Sure enough, on my last day, it happened yet again. Thankfully, the owner came and picked up the car
To their credit, they did offer me a replacement car and a refund. While I appreciated the gesture, I didn't want either. My only priority is making sure this car is actually thoroughly inspected and repaired so it isn't a safety hazard for the next people who rent it.

I have used John and his team several times now. Every time I come to Melbourne. I have hired different cars depending on my needs. The fiat 500 I hired this time was super cute and exactly what I needed zipping around the city. As always John and his family were fantastic hosts. Nothing is a problem and the cars are always immaculate. 🙏
