So the car did actually break down on the last day and it was a complete disaster and handled terribly by the Turo team. However, hosts Bruno and Samuel handled this stressful situation fantastically and were very level headed. We felt very prioritised as they were trying to make sure we made our flight despite being broken down by the side of the road (we still missed our flight).
Regarding the car, obviously not an ideal situation but it's just one of those things. Car was wonderful to drive days prior. Couldn't have asked for better hosts though, will be complaining to Turo about the way their staff handled this.
