Really disappointing. Very unpleasant experience. The vehicle description guaranteed A/C, but it was non-existent. It clearly had not been re-gassed for years, probably since purchase. Didn't produce even an increment of cool air, just a fan. I hired this van to move 3+hrs south, so driving on the highway in the beaming sun w/o a functional air conditioning was truly awful. Another major mechanical dysfunction was that the spedometer had a discrepancy of 9 (!!) km. I was going 100km/h when I thought I was actually going 110. This is an actual safety hazard; could be caused by a faulty speed sensor, electrical issue, or instrument cluster problem. Think about how drivers in QLD treat you on the roads if you're driving 10 km under the limit 🙃 Additionally, the driver window button was broken; remained in pressed down state after being pressed - so the window would keep going up and down by itself, unless some careful manoeuvring was used to situate the button in neutral. Booking times did not include timezones, even though my pickup was on the QLD/NSW border. I got confirmation emails and manual messages from Toro staff regarding my booking, confirming pickup from 7am, which is 8 am NSW, yet still had to wait for staff to arrive to office to pickup the van, despite Toro stating after hours pickup is offered before office hours, and instructions will be texted to me prior. The hire was from Andy's car rentals but through Toro, that then is owned by another company - which means they try to ping pong you between each other and you end up without support. Paul was nice enough and understanding, but after raising this issue with management, no-one has attempted to contact me in response to the feedback. Very unprofessional and sloppy.

Seriously guys, IT'S NOT WORTH the discount - go with a proper vehicle hire company.
