We were stopped by the police because the vehicle in the registration register was suspended, which means we were driving without insurance. This could have earned us a $1,000 fine and a big problem in the event of an accident.

Great trip overall. The Triton was well set up for camping and road trips, very capable and comfortable to drive. Pickup and drop-off were easy, and the host was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the booking.
Just a couple of things to note: we experienced some intermittent issues with the air conditioning during very hot conditions, and the secondary battery/fridge setup didn’t always hold charge when the engine was off. Nothing that ruined the trip, but worth being aware of.
Overall, a solid vehicle and a good experience — I’d recommend it, especially for camping and outdoor adventures.
