The reason we like Turo is that it is predominantly an owner based leasing system, with a sense of personable service.
Hiring through “Spun Car Rentals” a registered company, wasn’t what we were after.
Car was a bit dirty (although they said it gets cleaned the day of) the electric window on the drivers seat was broken and we just weren’t overly impressed with the vehicle.
Wanted to extend the trip and wasn’t given an overly welcome response to our queries as to why the rate was more (I understand the variable pricing on wkends, but to extend a trip this shouldn’t come into play as we’ve already leased it for 5 days) they did lower the price, but then blamed Turo for any “extra” fees etc we were also sent automated messages about checking out (even though we had extended)
All in all it was fine, but would just go with a normal rental company if you want to deal with all the malarkey and impersonal service.
I am baffled at your response to say least David, yourself being a Turo host! You are blaming us that we mentioned the fees are from Turo? Are you not even aware of how Turo calculates fees, maybe you should ask Turo to provide you with some trainings!
With regards to the electric window, it fully works, happy to show you in person!
Lastly, maybe next time, politely ask for a discount directly instead of finding excuses to get a discount, any hosts would have handled it the same way we did!

Pick up and drop off very straight forward. Nice, clean car, pleasent to drive. Used Android Auto for navigation, decent sized screen. My husband and I comfortably traveled around with our daughters (2 and 4 years old) in their car seats. Decent sized trunk. Would rent again !

This car was perfect so clean, nice and easy to drive. The collection process was easy to follow. They were very fast at responding. I changed the return time and that was no problem. Would highly recommend this car.
