I had mixed emotions about the experience. To start with, the car we originally booked ( A new Jaecoo) was changed, and the replacement vehicle was just okay—it was quite old, with nearly 200,000 km on it.
On the morning we were supposed to pick it up, Jacob informed us that the tyres were not in good condition. As a result, I had to go to a tyre shop and get all four tyres replaced, which caused significant inconvenience and disrupted our first day in Cairns.
Although Jacob covered the cost of the tyres and provided a $50 credit, the situation still created unnecessary hassle at the beginning of our trip.
That said, everything else went smoothly after that.

Apologies again about this. As mentioned the previous guest had this car for a few weeks and it came back at 4am in the morning and your trip started at 7am. I didn’t have a chance to get the car booked in before your trip started once I had found the issue with the tyre being so early in the morning.
I didn’t want to leave you without a car so I offered to compensate you for the 20 mins of time it took to get a new tyre once you collected the car.
