You need to be very careful to ensure the car is actually located at the airport. I received a message the day before arrival instructing me to take a 7 -minute Uber ride from the airport to pick up the rental car. Although they provided vouchers for the trips to and from the location, the whole process was a major hassle—loading and unloading luggage twice and wasting a huge amount of time. It is even worse in bad weather—rain, winter, or extreme heat—as returning the car off-site can take up to 30 minutes; plus, if the Uber voucher doesn't work, you lose even more time contacting the host and waiting for a reply. You could easily miss your flight. On top of that, when I picked up the car, the "service required" light was on, the charging port didn't work, the seats were poorly maintained, and the low tire pressure warning light was illuminated. It was truly a very disappointing experience.
But it would be good if the host didn't take too long to send messages.
