Start your car sharing business on Turo

If you’re interested in sharing a car on Turo, here are the steps you need to take:

1. Sign up on turo.com/list and complete your profile
2. Submit information about your car, including photos you’ve taken yourself
3. Complete all your setup steps, including your orientation phone call

Please note that:

If you start listing a car before 30 November and you complete all your setup steps (including your orientation phone call), your car will be in a “Pending” state until the market opens on 30 November. However, you’ll get access to exclusive incentives for getting ready before Turo opens for business in Australia. Then, on 30 November, your car will be automatically listed on Turo and available for guests to book.

If you start listing a car after 30 November, then you can go through all the required setup steps (including your orientation phone call) and publish your listing directly, since the market will already be open. However, you won’t qualify for our launch incentives.

In order to ensure that all hosts are properly set up for success on Turo, we require all new hosts to go through a quick 15-minute orientation phone call with our onboarding team.

During this call, we help explain hosting best practices and pitfalls to avoid.

This 15-minute call is mandatory for all new hosts in Australia, and you won’t be able to publish your car on the platform unless you complete it.

You must only complete one call, regardless of the number of cars you’re listing on Turo.

In order to qualify for our incentives, you must complete your orientation phone call and ensure that every car that you want to count toward your incentive is in “Pending” state (and does not indicate that “One unfinished step” is remaining) before 29 November at 23:59 AEDT (UTC +11H), 2022.

Please note that you won’t be able to start listing a second car on Turo until you complete your orientation phone call.
