Rented this car to use for our Wedding as we are from interstate. We requested airport to pickup the car and ended being picked up instead to be driven to a exchange point by the owner of the car.
First thing was we struggled to arrange all our luggage with our newborn due to now having been able to put the back seats down due to having the owner be in the car to drive us somewhere to exchange the car.
Other issue with this was the car seat wasn't even attached so we had to hold the baby as couldn't have the car there long enough to figure out how to use the car seat due to the owners not even knowing that newborns require the baby seat to be rear facing saying it's not normal. The carseat was not safe for our baby as her neck was always tilted due to not being able to keep her own head stable and baby seat not tilting back.
My family and I were extremely uncomfortable and worried for the safety for our child but unfortunately due to our limited time, we could not change to a different car with different Turo user. This was extremely unprofessional as I highly advised Nuwaan should not be on this service.
Car also had about 2 chip cracks windscreen in the windscreen which already makes the car unsafe for use.
This is not a normal Turo experience, what was the point of us requesting car pickip from the airport.

I had a great experience. The host went above and beyond by delivering the car to our accommodation and even giving us a lift to the airport, which I really appreciated. Communication was easy and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Car was fine, very neat and tidy. Hybrid was a bonus. Communication with host could have been better. Expected pick up and drop off of car at airport but had to drive to a nearby location. This would have been fine if I had known but no prior communication indicated this. Having to drop my family at airport with luggage and car seats then leave them to drop car off was an unexpected inconvenience.
