Worst experience of my consumer life

Hi Corbin, sorry your trip was disrupted. The car was in good working order at hand-over; the damage happened when the vehicle struck a pothole on the road during your drive, a road hazard, not a fault with the car. The extended delay in getting it repaired came down to Turo's own roadside assistance and claims process, which took far longer than any of us wanted. We stayed in close contact throughout and did everything within our control to support your family despite being overseas at the time
Host was lovely to deal with and helped set me up in the car before departing.
