Pickup was delayed by 1.5 hours with multiple false ETAs from the driver causing me to miss most of my farewell party. The "big accident" explanation didn't match traffic reports.
Car was fine once received, and as compensation, the host waived the full-tank return requirement (gas covered) – that was a decent gesture.
Overall frustrating due to poor communication and timeliness.
Hi Seito, we apologised for the pickup delay and tried to make it right by covering a full tank of fuel (over $70) and waiving the refuelling requirement. Your entire trip was around $100, and the fuel we covered made up a large portion of that cost. Unfortunately the car was returned completely empty, to the point it could barely reach a service station. Despite this, we still tried to compensate you fairly and ensure you weren’t out of pocket. Glad to hear the vehicle itself was in good condit
