Jeffrey was an absolute delight in terms of helpfulness, cheerfulness and communications. He responded to every note, offered solutions when we thought we had a problem, did everything he could to make our driving experience a pleasant one. This was our first time driving a BYD so we were all very attentive. Totally enjoyed most of the safety features —- lane assist, auto lights that automatically dimmed and brightened as conditions dictate, navigation. Definitely easy on the wallet (we parked at the convention center where we charged for free!)
On a minus side, hubby’s professional mechanic ear heard a sound coming from the left front tire that we couldn’t identify. Jeffrey was responsive and said he would have it checked out. All in all, the car ran well and was comfortable to ride in.
Note, however, that this is a compact car with trunk space that has its limits. Our traveling companions had so much luggage that it was a challenge to fit everything. Our challenge, not the car’s. Also, we had to thoroughly clean the windshield inside and out because there were streaks that made it hard to see when sunlight hit it and when it became dark.

Thank you for raising this. I had the car inspected by a BYD dealership — suspension, steering, CV joints, wheel bearings, and brakes were all thoroughly checked with no mechanical faults found. The sound was isolated through a tire-swap test and traced to the fitted Linglong tires' driving characteristics, not a vehicle defect. The car is confirmed safe to drive. I appreciate the heads-up and will look into upgrading the tires to reduce the noise going forward.
