Had an awesome 3-day trip with the Tesla Model 3 Performance. The acceleration is crazy and it’s super fun to drive. Really smooth and quiet, which made long drives comfortable.
Charging wasn’t as hard as I thought once I planned it out. The car was clean and everything worked perfectly.
And communication with Tobias was very convenient and easy.
Definitely worth it—would rent again for sure.

2nd time renting from Tobias and, as always, he's a fantastic host - communicative, accommodating, and easy to deal with. The car itself is a great drive and well worth it.
2 small things worth noting: the car was handed over at 75% battery, no biggie - though I was happy to return it above the minimum at 86% (80-90% required for return). The other sticking point was being charged a full month of premium connectivity for a 4-day trip. We'd picked up family from the airport and just wanted everything to be seamless, but found ourselves unable to sign into Apple Music or Spotify without paying extra for premium connectivity. It was annoying with kids and having to pay to unlock this. While it's not a massive amount, when you're already paying a premium for the car plus tolls and insurance, being billed a full month (despite 4 day rental) for something that, in all my previous Tesla Turo hires, should be included does chip away at the experience.
None of this takes away from Tobias as a host, he's very organised and professional, just being honest and transparent based on this experience.
Thank you for your feedback. No Tesla rental in Australia offers a Model 3 Performance with FSD included at that price. Show me one and I’ll match it, plus include free premium connectivity.
An extra $13.99 prompted a long retaliatory review, yet my request for it is rude? No daily premium connectivity subscription exists hence I have to ask the price that we pay to Tesla.
For charging, a simple heads-up and I’d have covered the first charge. Cheers.
