Car rental Irvine, CA

Excellent car, communicative host. I picked up the car with minimial difficulty near the SNA airport and returned it on time with. It is basically a new car with XM radio and good AC. I guess I didn't follow the correct procedure to return the car (the app sends me some message to open an app that has no "return" button), but I complained about some fee that was added 30 minutes later and it was removed. I think the Turo app can be made easier to use but seems to be mainly selling add ons like the other car rental companies. Turo has not yet reached the point of commoditization (like uber, airbnb, etc.) that makes the rates the same as the old economy companies so I will use it again until it does.

Adrian was a great host and answered all my questions ahead of the rental. For context I needed/rented this car for basically 3 months flying to LA from the East Coast for an internship. While other Turo hosts canceled on me and didn’t provide a level of detail about the car that I needed prior to, Adrian was great and patient with my questions, and I would rent from him again! For the Jetta itself, it runs very nicely for an older car. When I used the car, it was a little below 90k miles, and I added maybe 3900 miles and had no problems. The one thing I will say, which I wasn’t surprised by is you’ll feel the bumps on the road a bit because of the type of car and because it’s on the older side, but that’s kinda to be expected. Overall 5/5 rental and experience!

Perfect experience! Car was ready and waiting for me at pick up. No paperwork or delays to deal with. I had booked the car for 6 days however, my plans changed and I needed to return the car early. Mo was very accommodating and gave me instructions how to modify my reservation. I really appreciate that Mo! Thanks again!

Host is great and friendly, unlike other host that requires you to book two days in a row, Daniel let us book it for 1 day. Car has great handling and steering feels. Good price to rent.

Excellent car for this price. The parking brake is a little stiff but you can get it to work by pulling it up slightly before driving. No issues otherwise.

Car was perfect. Clean reliable and the AC is surprisingly powerful in this heat. It gets nice and cold when driving for a few minutes. Great car and great price. Easy all the way around,

Pickup was easy, and the car ran smoothly without issue for my 2-week rental period. The host was very responsive. The car itself is fine for the price. The radio display doesn’t work and the brakes squeak a bit, but it does the job. Would rent again!

This was my first turn rental and I couldn't be happier. The communication between me and the host was excellent. The phone number provided was always answered. The car was great, I enjoyed it so much I had it detailed before returning it. Pass on the good karma, this was a hassle free pickup and return. Will rent again from this host.

This car was absolutely amazing and incredibly clean! It made our short three-day trip to LA so much more enjoyable and seamless, even the driving itself became part of the fun. I don’t know if I’m lucky or what but every trip I’ve taken has been wonderful. No issues whatsoever with the car and the Host was exceptionally generous. Well taken care of vehicle with excellent gas mileage, for an affordable price? What else can you ask for! Thank you again Erik!
