Great and easy car rental! Will definitely rent it again, Edith was great!

Car was great , great price for a central prick up and Pauline was a great host

The car was in excellent condition and super clean and well presented. Vivek was amiable, friendly and responsive. I needed to change the pick up time and then during the journey, the drop off time, and it wasn't any problem to get a response. Highly recommend the car and the courteous service!

“Great experience renting this car. The car was in good condition, clean, and well maintained. Dan was very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the rental process. Pickup and return were smooth. I would definitely rent again.”

Excellent experience from start to finish. Micah was friendly, professional, and had great communication throughout the trip. The Audi A3 was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Pickup and drop-off were quick and easy, making the whole process hassle-free. I’d definitely rent from Micah again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable host and a great car.

Roy and the rest of the team at esco was very helpful and accommodating, this is one of the best if not the best rental I’ve taken out on Turo. Highly recommend, car was clean, good drive and the host was highly responsive

We had a great trip with Ibraheem’s car. The car was clean and working perfectly. We enjoyed the ac in the hot weather. Would rent again and highly recommend.
Best price compared to other cars, good confirmation speed, good response time mid-trip for any questions about the car, economical car, phone holder and cables provided, car in good condition, no issues. For an affordable, economic car for a quick get away and availability as means of transport and performance and features is not your priority, I recommend booking this car. Thank you for accomodating the booking.

As many people, I and a former ZipCar member. And Kash Z was very understanding, helpful and supportive as it was my first time hiring a car on Turo. The car was immaculate in the inside and super "Show-Room" clean! The car had a full tank and did my TURO check in photos, then away I was on my journey! I have driven a lot of different automatic/manual cars and this Toyoya Aygo is a great small AUTOMATIC car. This Automatic gearbox can also allow you to shift Up/Down gears. This type of gear box does have a slight noticeable delay when it shifts as it changes gears in auto mode, which is just a Toyota gearbox design. Great reverse camera, which is always a nice feature. That aside and once use to the car, it was a great car to Drive. Kash keeps it in top condition!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The car was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and drove perfectly. Dan was friendly, communicative, and made both the pick-up and drop-off process really easy. I’d happily rent from him again and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a smooth, hassle-free Turo experience. Thanks again!
Nice trip, very good car. Straightforward instructions. I will definitely use it again and recommend others too. Thanks
Mohammad was very easy to deal with and the car was as advertised. Would use again.

Easy pick up and drop off. Car was really clean and had no issues during our trip.

I'd definitely recommend renting from Soheb, he's an absolutely wonderful person. He delivered the car to us and was very flexible with the time and excellent with communication before and during our trip. If I could give more stars I would!!!

Bernie was amazing to deal with. He even offered to allow us to drive to our house and he picked the car up from there. Amazing service. The car drives great. Is a bit rough around the edges but totally fine.

Will and his Renault Zoe were exactly what I needed. The car was in great condition, clean, and drove brilliantly. Will was incredibly kind and helpful throughout — easy to communicate with and made the whole experience completely stress-free. Everything about the rental was seamless from start to finish. Will and his car are now my go-to on Turo — couldn’t recommend more highly!

Peak hour traffic in Greater London can be intense, particularly in central areas. Typically, morning rush hours occur between 7-9 AM, while evening congestion peaks from 4-7 PM. If possible, plan your journeys outside these times for a smoother drive. When travelling from Palmers Green, consider using alternative routes to avoid major arteries like the North Circular Road during busy periods. Traffic apps can provide real-time updates and suggest less congested routes. Be prepared for unexpected delays, especially around key junctions and popular areas. Some roads in central London have congestion charges during weekdays, so factor this into your plans if venturing into these zones. Remember, patience is key when navigating London traffic. If you must travel during peak hours, allow extra time and stay calm to ensure a safe journey in your hired car.
While Palmers Green itself doesn't have tolls, drivers should be aware of charges when venturing into central London. The most significant is the Congestion Charge, applicable in central areas on weekdays and Saturdays. Additionally, there's the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), which covers a wider area and operates every day except Christmas Day. If your journey takes you east, be mindful of the Dartford Crossing toll when using the M25 to cross the River Thames. It's crucial to check if your vehicle meets the ULEZ standards to avoid additional charges. These tolls are designed to reduce traffic and improve air quality in the capital. When planning your routes from Palmers Green, consider whether entering these zones is necessary or if alternative routes could be more cost-effective for your journey.
Palmers Green and its surrounding areas offer several options for refueling your vehicle. You'll find petrol stations along major roads like Green Lanes and the North Circular Road, ensuring convenient access during your travels. Many supermarkets in the area, such as Sainsbury's and Tesco, also have on-site fuel stations, often offering competitive prices. For those venturing further afield, motorway service stations provide 24-hour refueling options, though prices may be higher. It's wise to familiarise yourself with the locations of petrol stations near your planned routes, especially if you're heading into less populated areas. Some stations in residential areas may have limited operating hours, so check in advance if you're planning a late-night or early morning journey. Remember to return your hired car with the agreed-upon fuel level to avoid additional charges.
Driving in Palmers Green's residential areas offers a more relaxed experience compared to central London's hectic streets. In Palmers Green, you'll encounter narrower roads with parked cars on both sides, requiring careful navigation. Speed limits are typically lower, often 20-30 mph, and you'll need to be alert for pedestrians and cyclists. Central London, in contrast, presents a more challenging environment with heavy traffic, numerous one-way systems, and complex junctions. You'll need to be extra vigilant for buses, taxis, and a higher volume of pedestrians. Parking is generally easier to find in Palmers Green, while in central areas, it's often restricted and expensive. Traffic flow in Palmers Green is more predictable, whereas central London can experience sudden congestion. Remember, driving in residential areas requires respect for local communities, while central London demands constant awareness and quick decision-making.
Preparing for London's changeable weather is crucial for safe and comfortable driving. In winter, be ready for occasional frosty mornings by allowing extra time to defrost your vehicle. Ensure your rental car is equipped with proper all-season tyres. Rainy conditions are common year-round, so familiarise yourself with the windscreen wipers and keep a safe distance from other vehicles to avoid spray. During rare snowy days, drive cautiously and stick to main roads which are more likely to be gritted. Summer can bring unexpected heat waves, so check your vehicle's air conditioning before setting off. Always carry a bottle of water for hydration. Regardless of the season, it's wise to keep a light waterproof jacket in the car. By being prepared for various weather scenarios, you'll enjoy a safer and more pleasant driving experience in Palmers Green and throughout Greater London.
