The Mercedes-Benz was an absolute pleasure to drive. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. The ride was smooth, the vehicle performed flawlessly, and it made our trip even more enjoyable. The owner was professional, responsive, and made the entire rental process easy from start to finish. I would definitely rent this Mercedes again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a first-class TURO experience.

The 208 2020 Peugeot exceeded my expectations. The car was very well-maintained, comfortable, clean, and drove great. The rental process and communication with the owner were smooth and seamless. I highly recommend it and would definitely rent again

Nabeel was an absolute pleasure to rent from. The car was spotless, super smooth to drive, and well maintained. Pick up and drop off were completely hassle free, and Nabeel was quick to respond and accommodating throughout the entire trip. Easily one of the best rental experiences I’ve had on Turo. I’d definitely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable host👍👍

The host was excellent throughout the whole process. Communication was very good, he was friendly and easy to deal with, and he made the whole car rental process simple and stress-free. Everything was straightforward from start to finish, and I would definitely rent from him again.

Great car, great service and a very lovely guy. Would recommend to anyone looking to rent a car. Will 100% use again.

Easy pick up and location. Very friendly and welcoming host who explained everything at pick up time. Comfortable car
Top notch and professional touch from Romeo n his team right from pickup to dropoff inetween. Don't even get me started on the car experience. Way more than I thought I'd get based on the price. Already on my favourite list. Will certainly book again and again and will highly recommend....

Good communication. The car was overall enjoyable and perfect for the small parking lots of Devon. Good quality price ratio
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing experience with Amor and his Audi A5! I had such a great booking with Turo and host Amor Hussain, driving his 2018 Audi A5 S line. This car honestly blew me away – it feels so quick and responsive, you’d never guess it’s a 1.4L, it handles beautifully and drives like a dream. The mileage was fantastic too: the booking allowance was 200 miles and I only used 85, such great value for the price I paid. Just one tiny note: I wish the exterior had been fully cleaned when I picked it up, but it was no trouble at all – I just gave it a quick wash myself, absolutely nothing to ruin the experience. As for Amor, he was an absolute perfect host! He was so supportive, helpful, respectful and easy to communicate with from start to finish. He made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and really went above and beyond. I will 100% be re-booking this car and recommending Amor to everyone I know!

Host is really nice, appreciate the flexibility with pick up and drop off. Host offered to drop us at the airport for a fee, we took the offer. The car is an older model as mentioned by the host so doesn't have some of the latest features. For the price and service, it was a good value for money.
Nice car , drive well , AC chilling , friendly host and reasonable price compared to others , I’ll use this car again if I have to
Lukas is one of the best host I have seen in my experience with Turo clean car always on time and respectful young man I will recommend his services and his cars to anyone who is looking for day drive. It was my son’s wedding and he made it very easy to deal with him. Once again thanks Lukas.
I had the car rental experience with Mirza! He was very communicative and fast in responding to any queries, the car drives very well and it’s also fuel efficient. Pick up and drop off process was very easy and straightforward, the host is also very kind and friendly. Definitely best price rate and car rental experience you would have (especially with automatic car!)
The car is very good for a day trip as is small and fuel efficient! I would totally recommend it. Also Carly was super cool and she assisted us with everything. Overall very happy and will rent with her again!
Great rental experience! The car was in excellent condition, everything went smoothly, and Nabeel was friendly, reliable, and easy to communicate with. I would definitely rent from him again. Highly recommended!
Omar went above and beyond before and throughout the rental. Car was in excellent condition, exactly as described, and he couldn't have done more to make make the process as easy as possible. Would definitely rent from again

When booking a car rental in Greenwich, consider these tips: Book early on Turo for the best selection, choose a compact car for easy city navigation, and look for extras like a backup camera or GPS for stress-free driving. If planning trips to nearby countryside, opt for a vehicle with all-wheel drive. Remember to familiarise yourself with local parking regulations and consider a car with keyless entry for added convenience in this bustling area.

Remember to communicate with your host about the exact pickup location and any specific instructions to ensure a smooth start to your Greenwich car rental experience.
Greenwich offers several scenic driving routes that highlight the charm of Greater London. A delightful journey takes you along the Thames Path, where you can admire riverside views and historic landmarks. Another picturesque drive leads through the rolling hills of Kent, known as the "Garden of England." For a mix of urban and natural beauty, consider a route through Richmond Park, home to wild deer and lush greenery. These drives allow you to experience the diverse landscapes surrounding Greenwich, from bustling city streets to tranquil countryside. Remember to check local traffic updates before setting out on your adventure in your rental car.
Navigating parking in Greenwich requires some planning, particularly during busy periods. The town centre offers several car parks, including the Cutty Sark Gardens and Greenwich Park car parks. On-street parking is available but often limited. Consider using the Park and Display system, which allows you to pay for parking via mobile app or at on-site machines. During peak hours, arriving early is advisable to secure a spot. Alternatively, you might find it more convenient to park at one of the nearby rail stations and take public transport into Greenwich. Always check parking signs carefully, as restrictions can vary depending on the location and time of day.
For exploring Greenwich and its surroundings, a compact or mid-size car is often ideal. These vehicles offer a good balance of manoeuvrability for navigating narrow city streets and comfort for longer drives. If you're planning to venture into the countryside, a small SUV might be a good choice, providing extra space and better handling on rural roads. For those focused on city driving, an electric vehicle could be an excellent option, aligning with London's eco-friendly initiatives. Automatic transmissions are increasingly popular, but manual cars are still widely available if you prefer. Whatever your choice, ensure your rental car suits your specific itinerary and driving preferences in Greenwich and Greater London.
While driving around Greenwich, you should be aware of certain charges in Greater London. The most significant is the Congestion Charge, which applies to most vehicles entering central London during specified hours. Additionally, there's the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), covering a larger area of London, including parts of Greenwich. This charge applies to vehicles that don't meet certain emissions standards. If you're planning to use the Dartford Crossing, which connects Kent and Essex, you'll need to pay a toll. It's crucial to familiarise yourself with these charges and how to pay them to avoid fines. Many car hire services in Greenwich can provide information about these tolls and sometimes offer payment options.
Navigating rush hour traffic in Greenwich and central London can be challenging. Peak times typically occur between 7-9 am and 4-7 pm on weekdays. To avoid the worst congestion, consider planning your journeys outside these hours if possible. Using real-time traffic apps can help you find alternative routes. Be prepared for sudden stops and keep a safe distance from other vehicles. In central London, be aware of bus lanes and cycle superhighways, which have specific rules. Parking can be particularly difficult during rush hours, so it's wise to research your destination's parking options in advance. Remember, driving in London during peak times may incur additional charges, so factor this into your travel plans when using your car rental in Greenwich.
Greenwich and its surrounding areas offer several reliable options for refuelling your rental car. You'll find petrol stations along major roads and in town centres. Some well-known chains have locations in the area, providing consistent service and fuel quality. When driving in central London, it's advisable to keep your tank at least half full, as stations can be less frequent. Many petrol stations now offer pay-at-pump services, which can be more convenient during busy times. Some also have small shops for essentials. Remember to check which side your fuel cap is on before pulling up to the pump. It's also worth noting that fuel prices can vary significantly between stations, so comparing prices can help you find the best deal for your car rental in Greenwich.
Driving in Greenwich's urban areas differs significantly from navigating nearby rural roads. In urban Greenwich, expect more traffic, frequent traffic lights, and numerous pedestrian crossings. Speed limits are generally lower, typically 20-30 mph. Parking can be challenging, often requiring payment and adherence to time restrictions. In contrast, rural roads around Greenwich offer a more relaxed driving experience with higher speed limits, usually 60 mph on single carriageways. However, these roads may be narrower and have fewer streetlights. You're more likely to encounter wildlife and agricultural vehicles on rural routes. Weather conditions can affect rural roads more severely, so extra caution is needed during adverse weather. Whether in urban or rural areas, always stay alert and adapt your driving to the conditions when using your hired car in the Greenwich area.
Planning a road trip from Greenwich to other parts of England can be an exciting adventure. Start by choosing a destination that interests you, whether it's the historic city of Canterbury or the coastal charm of Brighton. Research the route, including potential stops at picturesque villages or notable landmarks along the way. Consider the duration of your trip and plan overnight stays if necessary. Pack essentials like snacks, water, and a physical map as a backup to GPS. Check your rental car's condition before setting off, ensuring it's suitable for longer journeys. Be prepared for varying road types, from motorways to country lanes. Remember to take regular breaks, especially on longer drives. Lastly, embrace the journey itself – the English countryside offers beautiful scenery that's best appreciated at a leisurely pace.
