Unfortunately, our experience with Turo was extremely disappointing. Our rental van would not start during our vacation, and what should have been a straightforward roadside-assistance issue turned into hours of troubleshooting, repeated messages, and frustration. Getting assistance and a tow arranged took most of the day. We lost valuable vacation time, were left without our rental, and had to borrow a friend's vehicle to get to the airport. When a rental vehicle becomes inoperable, I expect the rental company to make resolving the problem easier—not add to the stress. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to use Turo again.
