Host notified us the day before that our selected vehicle was no longer available after we paid in full for it. We then selected the alternative they had. We planned our trip on the vehicle we originally chose for pictures because it was a green color for our wedding photos.
The car was so difficult to find. We tried the Turo locator and it took us to the entry booth. All the cars looked alike, a lot of Toyota Forerunners.
The car was filthy when we got it. We had to do a car wash right away to see out of the windows etc. The car had a hard pull to the left the entire trip, it needs an alignment. Also it had no pickup and it was scary trying to merge onto the highway.
The worst part overall was the abundance of information sent and videos required to watch etc. It was overload and at some point I just stopped reading. They need to keep it simple. The process was overly complicated and it didn’t need to be.
The positive was that I didn’t have to wait hours in line at a car rental booth. And the car had free car washes included. And they seemed pretty nice.
We appreciate your feedback. The original vehicle required repair, and we provided an equivalent 4Runner so your trip could proceed without disruption. Reading the instructions and watching the videos would have made your trip smoother. Written instructions include the exact row and section to locate the vehicle. Overnight snow can affect exterior cleanliness and is noted in advance. 4Runners are built for Colorado conditions, not speed. We will inspect the alignment concern.
