The host dropped off the car with a chip on the front windshield. I tried to contact the host multiple times to discuss whether they knew about it and if I were liable if any further damage occurs. No response. I called the hosts number numerous times and it went straight to voicemail. Texted the number without any response. Had to call TURO customer service to help and they just recommended I end the trip early. If you google the host, seems very AI driven. Don’t expect to talk to a human if you book with them.

Communication is primarily handled through the Turo app to keep everything documented, and I regret if my response wasn’t timely in this case. I’ll work on improving response times so guests feel more supported.
