I’ve rented lots on Turo and you get what you pay for. It’s a cheaper rental but not worth the headache. The host asked to drop the car off instead of pickup and I expressed I had prior commitments to pick my nicu baby up from the hospital please be on time. The host assured me he would be but was an hour late to drop off the car and told me the car would be fueled and ready to go. The car was not only an hour late but only had a quarter tank of gas. Normally other hosts have the car cleaned and fueled and I return it that way as well. The car was dirty on the inside and had a HORRIBLE body odor smell of musty armpits. I tried airing the car out but the smell would not go away it was just horrible. Host stated that he was late and the car wasn’t ready due to previous renter dropping off late. I feel as tho he should have accommodated the next renter better knowing all of that. Car could probably use an alignment or tune up of some sorts. It is a cheaper price but remember you get what you pay for guys. I truly was disappointed in this rental.

Hello, I appreciate your review. First of all, she is completely lying that she rents rent a lot on Turo this was our first trip on Turo and her account was way older, but her first trip was on turo. During trip we checked in numerous times on her, but nothing was mentioned and in the end, she asked us to pick up the car from our house instead of dropping her from the location so it was a complete improper return and we believe that it is a completely retaliatory review.
Car was wondering, host was wondering and very helpful will be renting from him again

First I ubered and was dropped off at the location and was told he was only 5 mins away when it was actually about 20 more mins so we didn’t get in the road until 11:30am. He said he was cleaning the car but it was dirty in and out and there wasn’t gas there was an awful smell in the car. Then on top of all that while we were on the road the car wouldn’t go over 65 mph off and on like the transmission going out when the speed limit was 75 luckily I made it there safe and back but this was definitely a stress I didn’t need

Plus if there were any issues, you shouldn’t have extended the trip but rest assured we will definitely work on the review and improve.
