Car was very good, amazing gas mileage, host super helpful, I'd book againg with them.

I would say disappointing all around from The Host to the car to pick up to drop off. The host was rude and unhelpful, when I arrived the car did not have the key code to allow me out of the airport parking lot. So I arrive at midnight and am not able to leave. When I called the host she told me I can rent a car another car if I want, but they didn't have any others available. When I got the out of the airport, it was making mechanical noises which I had also told the host when I was trying to get the airport key card. As I began driving some sort of fluid started coming through the AC vents and started burning my eyes and throat. I parked the car and left it. I called turo to report it they told me to not drive the vehicle until leave it to be picked up. I confirmed that the owner had picked the vehicle up. Then I started receiving messages about how I was late to return the vehicle and now how I had failed to return it. On my vacation I was banned from using turo so I could not rent another car, because this host did not report that they picked up the car. Even though they confirmed it over the phone with turo they did not put it in the system. All around a terrible experience and they still charged me for one night with the car. Then they tried to charge me for not returning the car. Then they banned me from turo. I wrote customer service pretty upset and a few days later they said it was resolved and that I would still be able to use turo. I probably will never use turo again.

Convenient! Older car, but in good shape. Last minute rental and all the shops were closed. Turo to the rescue.

The car is pretty beat up. It also died during part of the trip. I called the host because I tried jumping it, they said it was because there wasn’t enough gas even though the car said 40 miles until empty. I had to uber to get gas and fill up the car. It turned over after but it took 2 hours out of my day and the issue wasn’t disclosed before renting.
