This was my first Turo experience and it was great! Great and clear communication and overall an easy process.

I have been on turo since 2021 and have taken several trips. Never once have I encountered such a difficult, frustrating, over the top, treasure hunt of a process to get keys and a vehicle - EVER!! I was given an address, then texted something else. Then given a link to get a key pick up, then the key pick up has 3 different lots try walking to 3 different lots in 106 degree weather AND your host is refusing to answer your call and will only text 😏 it was a horrible experience and I will never ever do that with this company ever again💯💯. UNREAL. the car drove ok. Good on gas but the brakes squealed when you park and back up. It's a big no for me. I don't even know how we found the car or what we actually did I was so delirious from the heat. I went from there straight to the hotel and slept for the rest of the day and went to the hospital for dehydration shortly after. Horrible process but cleanly someone thought it made sense so I'm sure they'll keep it. But I will never again. If I can drive up and retrieve a key, it's a no

To clarify, detailed pickup instructions, a direct walking route, and key-access steps were provided before arrival. Our team responded through Turo messaging so all communication remained documented. After the trip, the vehicle was returned with a strong smoke odor, contrary to our no-smoking policy, and a discount was requested. Given the vehicle’s condition upon return and the nature of this interaction, we would not host this guest again.
