Overall, we had a very good experience! Picking up the car was much easier than at a traditional rental car agency — you just take the key and you’re ready to go!
The car was absolutely spotless and worked perfectly. We drove from Austin to Fredericksburg and back without any issues. The car felt very stable, had good speed, and felt solid and reliable. Perfect for our trip!
Returning the car was also relatively easy. You leave it at one of the stations Gregg indicates, take a few photos, charge the car, leave the keys, and you’re done! We actually didn’t need to charge it during our trip, which was wonderful.
The only thing I would improve is the communication and instructions. For the pickup, we received an explanation that was a little confusing, and we initially went to the wrong location where the car wasn’t there. Regarding charging, we received information about many different places where we could charge the car, and I wasn’t quite sure why there were so many options.
Also, keep in mind that returning the car involves more than simply dropping it off: you need to take photos, upload them, charge the car, and leave the keys. If you’re new to the process, I would recommend allowing around 30 minutes for the checkout.
Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely rent this car again!
