Chevrolet Bolt EV

The car was great! The car got to my destination and back just fine for my first time being in an electric car. Greg was a great host. Only thing is I wish the nearby charging stations were accessible/working. Would rent again though.

Used this car for over a month and had no issues! Only things I didn’t love were that the estimated amount of charge didn’t seem completely reliable in terms of mileage, and I couldn’t figure out how to hook up my phone on Bluetooth

Received the car and the inside was dirty (cupholders, floor, steering wheel felt dirty). Car was 80% charged which caused issues as I was traveling to Dallas from a flight (allotted 800 miles with rental). I will say he responded quickly to messages but that didn’t do me much good. Kept in contact with the owner off and on through the trip as I was having some difficulties getting the car to charge. He informed me that there were a lot of free charging ports in Austin (where the car pick up is) as I was returning the car I informed him I was running late and my Uber would be picking my up in the same spot I got the car so I could get to the airport to catch my flight. He then sends me the “Return” information. Stating that I could leave the car on the charger on the street I picked it up on (which I couldn’t find and contacted him about) or take it to a parking lot in the area. But not where my scheduled uber was picking me up. I informed that I was dropping it off on the street that he to me to drop it off on but couldn’t find the charger. Once I completed the trip and left town he send me a bill for a $30 charger fee after he had already stated there were plenty of free charging ports in the area.

Car wasn’t clean upon picking it up but it is reliable and good for the price :)
