Firstly, the communication regarding vehicle pickup was extremely poor. The instructions directed me to the terminal instead of the actual parking lot where the vehicle was located. Given that Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is one of the largest airports in the country by square mileage, this caused significant confusion and wasted time. I spent at least 45 minutes searching for the vehicle.
The same issue occurred during drop-off. Because of the unclear and inaccurate instructions, I was delayed again trying to locate the correct parking area. As a result, Turo charged me for an additional half day, which was completely avoidable and not my fault. To make matters worse, the vehicle was not even located in the designated Turo parking area, which is clearly marked with signage.
I attempted to contact the host multiple times, but communication was inconsistent and unreliable. I also reached out to dispute the additional charges, but the response from both the host and Turo was disappointing and unhelpful.
Another major issue was the $100 airport pickup fee. This charge was not clearly disclosed upfront or itemized at the time of booking. Instead, it appeared after the trip was completed. Had this been transparent from the beginning, I would have chosen a different vehicle and avoided the airport altogether.
Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. I have been a loyal Turo user for years and have rented dozens of vehicles, yet there was no effort to provide any level of courtesy, resolution, or accountability—even though these issues were outside of my control.
Based on this experience, I will strongly consider alternative rental options moving forward.

During your trip, you requested an extension and a price adjustment, which we accepted. Drop-off was at the same Turo lot. Communication was always professional. The vehicle was delivered clean and fully charged. All fees are managed by Turo.
