An Acura ILX car rental puts you behind the wheel of a compact luxury sport sedan with a playful streak. Its 2.4-liter four-cylinder pairs with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, so every on-ramp feels like an invitation. Browse each Acura rental on Turo to find the ILX that fits your trip.
On Turo, you book your ILX from a local vehicle owner and arrange pickup and drop-off that fit your plans. Each listing shows the year, rating, and price up front, so you know exactly what you're driving before you book.

The ILX makes its 201 hp at a lofty 6,800 rpm, so it rewards you for holding a gear. Its 2.4-liter i-VTEC engine uses direct injection and delivers 180 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with a torque converter handles the shifts, and paddle shifters let you take over whenever the mood strikes.
The ILX balances comfort and control, so long highway stretches and tight corners both feel natural. Up front, a MacPherson strut suspension handles steering duties, while a multi-link rear setup keeps the back end planted through bends. Amplitude Reactive Dampers round out a chassis built for calm, confident miles.
Front-wheel drive keeps the handling predictable — handy when you're learning the streets of a new city. Standard 17-inch wheels strike a comfortable balance for daily driving. A-Spec versions step up to 18-inch wheels for a sharper stance, so you can pick the personality that suits your trip.
The ILX earns an EPA-rated 28 mpg combined, with 34 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg in the city. Pair that with a 13.2-gallon tank and you'll cover plenty of ground between fill-ups. That's ideal for a weekend loop along the coast or a cross-state business trip.
The ILX runs on premium unleaded (91 octane), so plan for that at the pump. Even so, the highway rating keeps long drives from draining your trip budget. That leaves more room for the dinners, shows, and side trips you actually came for.
The ILX delivers compact luxury that's easy to park downtown and polished enough for a client meeting. It suits city trips, business travel, and couples' getaways, with five seats and a 12.4-cubic-foot trunk for weekend bags. Turo's car rental marketplace lets you rent the exact car you want, exactly where you need it.

The 2022 ILX includes the AcuraWatch suite as standard, so you get a full set of driver-assistance tools on every trim. Forward Collision Warning and Collision Mitigation Braking keep an eye on the road ahead. Lane Keeping Assist and Road Departure Mitigation help you stay centered in your lane.
Adaptive Cruise Control holds your set gap in highway traffic — a real perk on long drives. When it's time to park, the multi-view rear camera gives you several angles on what's behind you. It's reassuring tech when you're navigating unfamiliar roads far from home.
Slip in without fishing for a key, since keyless access and pushbutton ignition come standard. Dual-zone automatic climate control lets you and your passenger each set your own temperature. Nobody has to compromise, even on a long drive.
The driver's eight-way power seat includes power lumbar support, which your lower back will appreciate after a few hours behind the wheel. With 89.3 cubic feet of passenger volume, the cabin gives everyone room to settle in. It's the kind of quiet, well-sorted space that makes a road trip feel like a treat.
Some listings include the A-Spec package, which adds visual punch to an already sharp sedan. You'll roll on 18-inch wheels and settle into sport seats trimmed with Ultrasuede. Certain A-Spec cars also come with a red interior option for a bold splash of color.
Want navigation built in? The Technology package requires A-Spec, so look for both in the listing details. Since packages vary from car to car, check the photos and description before you book. That way, the ILX that shows up matches the one you pictured.
Other popular models

The ILX gives you a 12.4-cubic-foot trunk, and the rear seatback folds down when you need extra length. It takes premium fuel, and packages vary by listing, so confirm what's included before you book.
You'll find options in major cities, too. Browse Acura rentals in Los Angeles, Acura cars in Miami, or Chicago Acura rentals to find the right car where your trip starts.
The ILX rewards an engaged driver, and a little care keeps its low front end happy. Keep these habits in mind:
Use the paddle shifters to hold a gear on winding roads or when merging.
Set adaptive cruise control on highways to keep a steady gap in traffic.
Fill up with 91-octane premium unleaded every time you stop for gas.
Take steep driveways and tall curbs slowly, since the ILX has just 5.3 inches of ground clearance.
Recent listings for an Acura ILX car rental on Turo ran around $52–$66 per day, though prices vary. Your final price depends on the car's year, location, and trip dates.

You need a valid driver's license to rent an ILX. A physical, permanent license from the US or your home country works. So does a valid temporary license — bring photo ID if it has no photo.
Turo accepts physical, valid permanent licenses and valid temporary licenses. Turo does not accept learner's permits, photocopies, or an International Driving Permit as a replacement for a license.
In the US, you need to be 18 or older for standard vehicles and 21 or older for vehicles worth more than $20,000. Deluxe vehicles require drivers 25 or older, and Super Deluxe, Classic, and Specialty vehicles require drivers 30 or older. Drivers 18–24 pay a young driver fee, so check the ILX listing for its requirements.
