BMW 4 Series: G23 2021

Without a doubt one of the best Turo experiences I've ever had. Robert was an exceptional host from start to finish, friendly, professional, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. Communication was effortless, and he made both collection and return completely seamless. The green BMW convertible was absolutely stunning. It arrived in immaculate condition, drove beautifully, and turned heads everywhere we went. Whether cruising through scenic roads or simply enjoying the top-down experience, the car made the trip truly memorable. Robert clearly takes immense pride in both his vehicle and the experience he provides. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. I wouldn't hesitate to book with him again and would highly recommend both Robert and his beautiful BMW convertible to anyone looking for a first-class Turo experience. Thank you for making our trip so special!

Incredible trip. Stephen was so helpful in making sure we had smooth logistics for an extended use of his car. The car itself drove very nicely and had great fuel economy. Thanks for everything, Stephen

Alan and his Fiat is incredible! When I ran into tire trouble, Alan was a lifesaver and shelled in every way he could. With the small Scottish roads, you want a little car and a great host — you’ll get both with Alan :)

Waqas was friendly from the very beginning and maintained excellent communication throughout the trip. The pickup location was convenient, and he guided me clearly to find it without any issues. One of the most memorable parts of the trip was during Storm Dave, when many cars, including ours, got stuck due to severe conditions and heavy congestion. Our car like few others unfortunately slid off the curb in narrow roads of Isle of skye, causing some damage to the underside. I informed Waqas immediately, and his response stood out — he remained calm, checked on our safety first, and handled the situation with understanding and empathy. At the end of the trip, he resolved everything smoothly and professionally, even taking care of the process himself without burdening me with unnecessary paperwork. This level of trust and fairness is rare, especially compared to some hosts who might escalate such situations unnecessarily. I would highly recommend Waqas as a host — reliable, understanding, and genuinely human in his approach.

Discovering East Lothian's coastal treasures and Edinburgh's historic landmarks

East Lothian offers spectacular coastal drives along rugged cliffs, pristine beaches, and charming fishing villages that stretch from Musselburgh to North Berwick. Edinburgh beckons with its world-famous castle perched dramatically above the city centre, while the Royal Mile winds through centuries of Scottish history. Your rental car provides the perfect opportunity to combine seaside exploration with urban discovery, letting you experience both the tranquil countryside and vibrant city life of this remarkable region.

Edinburgh castle dominates the capital's ancient skyline

Edinburgh Castle stands majestically atop an extinct volcano, offering breathtaking views across the city and beyond to the Forth estuary. The fortress houses Scotland's Crown Jewels and the legendary Stone of Destiny within its historic walls. Parking options are available in the city centre, though spaces fill quickly during festival season and summer months.

North Berwick's dramatic coastline and seabird colonies

North Berwick combines Victorian seaside charm with spectacular natural beauty, featuring golden beaches and the iconic Bass Rock rising from the Forth. The town serves as a gateway to some of Scotland's finest coastal walks and golf courses. Ample parking near the harbour makes it easy to explore the beaches, while the scenic coastal road offers stunning views of the Firth of Forth islands.

Musselburgh's historic racecourse and ancient heritage

Musselburgh boasts Scotland's oldest racecourse and a fascinating Roman heritage that spans nearly two millennia. The town's historic high street features traditional Scottish architecture and local shops selling regional specialities. Convenient parking throughout the town centre allows easy exploration of the historic sites and the beautiful stretch of coastline that borders the community.

Book your rental car early on Turo to secure the best selection, especially during Edinburgh Festival season and summer months when demand peaks.
