Porsche Cayman S 2014

We had a great weekend with the Cayman, I have been looking at purchasing a Cayman for a while and it was good to be able to drive one for an extended period. The car is in good condition, was clean and ready to go when we arrived, Phil was very quick to communicate and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal drive! Spent 2 weeks with this car and it’s great for a daily. Subtle when you don’t want attention but screams and has more than enough power when you need it to go. Phil was a great host, really responsive and maintains his car really well. Perfect for couples who don’t wanna give the in-laws a lift 🤣

Porsche Cayman S 2014

I hired a Porsche Cayman S for three days to properly see what this car is like to live with — and it completely exceeded expectations. From the moment you fire up the 3.4-litre flat-six, it feels special. The sound, the throttle response and the eagerness all remind you this is a real driver’s car, not just something that looks sporty. On twisty roads, the handling is nothing short of superb — the steering is perfectly weighted and incredibly precise, and because the engine is in the middle, the balance through corners inspires loads of confidence. It’s agile and fun even at sensible speeds, and whenever I pushed on a bit more, it came alive. Despite how focused it feels, it was still surprisingly comfortable during longer motorway stints. The ride is firm but never uncomfortable, the seats are supportive, and the driving position is spot-on. The interior is fairly minimal by modern standards, but everything feels high quality and purposeful. Over the three days I averaged about 25mpg – perfectly acceptable for the performance on offer. Practicality isn’t as bad as you’d think – between the small rear boot and front trunk there was more than enough room for luggage and shopping for a weekend away. It definitely turns heads too, but in a classy, understated way rather than shouting for attention. Thank you Phil for all your help and I will definitely be hiring again.
