I’ve rented from turo for years in various countries and par none this was the worst experience. The only reason there are two stars is because the replacement vehicle that we were never notified about until standing in the rain for 10 minutes waiting on them to drop it off was nice and clean and in good condition and the drop off was fairly seamless, the host was just not where they said they were going to be but was right at the terminal. Otherwise I’d give 0 to 1 star. None the less, communication was scarce—this is a multi person business venture. Expect to talk to one person online and someone else comes to the drops (different for pickup and drop off). They were contacted weeks in advance at the time of booking to arrange a different airport drop off/pickup and waited until less than 48h before the trip started to tell me it would be an additional 90 pounds. Apparently whoever had the car before us extended their trip, rather than giving us our booked car we were “upgraded” but not notified and the car was too large to park in our cottage parking spot in the Cotswolds. We come to the UK annually and I will never rent from this supplier again.
