What a dog! The owner has obviously disconnected the turbo on this vehicle as it had the get up and go of a tortoise, so much so that on any highway you had to drop down to 4th gear on any upgrade and even then the vehicle would drop speed to 60 or 65 it was embarrassing to say the least. It was painfully slow!
I did not care too much as it was a vacation for us and we had time to meander our way along. I was just glad that the vehicle did not break down. The owner seemed like a nice guy but communicating with him was just as slow as the vehicle, I had to wait 3 days to get a response from him about drop off plans as our flight was an early morning one. He agreed to collect the vehicle from the hotel the night before our flight and charged us 56 GBP for the privilege. All in all I think I will stick with rental companies in future.

Appreciate the feedback, as you know the £56 charge was for a taxi from a company you recommended to collect the vehicle from the hotel airport as you did not want to drop the vehicle back to the collection point. You also changed the drop off day so I needed to change my plans to accommodate this. just to note car had been recently serviced and can assure you no turbo has been disconnected. But all feedback is welcome and we take everything on board hope you had a safe flight. Kind regards
