The car was great! Easy to drive and plenty of room! Matt was extremely helpful!

Car was incredibly clean and in a great condition. Super easy communication and very helpful, would recommend for anyone needing a car in and around Banff!

Michael was a great host and the car is very complete. Sunroof was perfect to explore Banff and Jasper! Pick up and drop off were very easy too. There are some cracks in the windshield, but it didn’t compromise the trip. We made the reservation only one day before pick up after problems with the car rental, and everything was super smooth. Thanks, Michael!

Khalil was very helpful. He remained responsive and accommodating even after I messed up the pick up time. There was a small - non servere - issue with the car which he acknowledged and apologized for - Khalil was not to know. The car was as described and drove well ! Would rent again
Matt’s a great host, he gave very clear instructions for pickup and drop off, and great communication throughout the trip. Would recommend to anyone!

Easy to access the vehicle and it was very clean! Matt answered all my questions and very quick to respond. Best experience i’ve had on Turo. Also the car drives really nice, seats are comfortable.
Had the best 2 weeks with this car, the host made it very easy and straightforward. I couldn’t recommend enough! The price was great and the car was clean and basically brand new.
Banff offers world-class attractions easily accessible by car, from the turquoise waters of Lake Louise to the panoramic views atop Sulphur Mountain. You can drive the scenic Bow Valley Parkway to spot elk and bighorn sheep, explore the charming village of Banff with its mountain shops and restaurants, or venture to Moraine Lake for breathtaking photography opportunities. Your rental SUV provides the freedom to visit multiple locations in a single day, whether you're chasing sunrise at Lake Louise or enjoying sunset views from the Banff Springs Hotel. Lake Louise showcases brilliant turquoise waters surrounded by snow-capped peaks and the massive Victoria Glacier. You'll find ample parking available near the lake, though arriving early helps secure the best spots during peak season. The drive from Banff village takes you through stunning mountain scenery along the Trans-Canada Highway, making the journey as memorable as the destination itself.
Moraine Lake sits dramatically beneath the Valley of the Ten Peaks, creating one of Canada's most photographed landscapes. The winding mountain road to reach this alpine gem requires careful driving but rewards you with unparalleled views of glacier-fed waters. Parking fills quickly during summer months, so your rental SUV's capability to handle mountain roads gives you flexibility to arrive when conditions are optimal.
The Banff Gondola whisks you up Sulphur Mountain for 360-degree views of six mountain ranges and the Bow Valley below. You'll appreciate the convenient parking at the gondola base station, located just minutes from downtown Banff via Mountain Avenue. Your rental SUV makes it easy to combine this mountaintop experience with other Banff attractions in the same day.
• By plane: Fly into Calgary International Airport, then drive approximately 90 minutes west through the foothills to reach Banff
• By car: Take the Trans-Canada Highway west from Calgary, or drive north from the United States via Highway 93 through British Columbia
• By train: VIA Rail does not service Banff directly, though you can take the train to Calgary and continue by SUV rental from there
Book your SUV early on Turo since demand peaks during summer months and winter ski season in this popular mountain destination. Look for vehicles equipped with all-wheel drive for enhanced traction on mountain roads, plus heated seats for comfort during Alberta's cold winters. Consider SUVs with roof racks for ski equipment or bike racks for summer cycling adventures, and ensure your chosen vehicle offers ample cargo space for camping gear or hiking equipment you'll need exploring Banff National Park.
SUVs provide elevated seating positions that showcase Banff National Park's stunning mountain vistas and Lake Louise's turquoise waters. The spacious cargo area accommodates hiking gear, camera equipment, and winter clothing essential for Alberta's changing weather conditions. Mountain driving in Banff requires smooth acceleration and gentle braking to maintain control on steep grades leading to attractions like Lake Louise. SUV hire vehicles offer all-wheel drive systems that provide superior traction on Alberta's mountain roads during winter months. Lower gears help control descent speeds while climbing toward Banff's scenic overlooks, ensuring safe navigation through the Canadian Rockies.
Alberta winters demand vehicles with enhanced traction control and stability systems that SUVs naturally provide for Banff exploration. Higher ground clearance prevents snow buildup underneath your rental SUV during Canada's harsh winter conditions. The weight distribution in SUV rentals offers improved handling on icy roads connecting Calgary to Banff National Park destinations.
The Icefields Parkway from Banff to Jasper showcases dramatic mountain scenery best appreciated from an SUV's commanding driving position. Bow Valley Parkway offers wildlife viewing opportunities where SUVs provide safe refuge and excellent visibility for spotting elk and bears. Mountain roads leading to Moraine Lake and other Banff attractions benefit from SUV stability and confident handling through winding alpine terrain.
Families appreciate SUV rentals for their spacious interiors that accommodate multiple passengers plus gear for Banff National Park adventures. Outdoor enthusiasts benefit from generous cargo space for camping equipment, hiking boots, and photography gear essential for exploring Alberta's wilderness. Both groups value the enhanced safety features and all-weather capability that SUVs provide for Canada's mountain environment.
Electronic stability control prevents skidding on Banff's winding mountain roads, especially during Alberta's unpredictable weather conditions. Anti-lock braking systems maintain steering control during emergency stops on steep descents throughout the Canadian Rockies. Advanced traction management helps SUV rental vehicles maintain grip on loose gravel and wet pavement common near Lake Louise and other Banff destinations.
