Verdun, a charming borough of Montreal, offers a perfect blend of history and modernity. Nestled along the St. Lawrence River, this vibrant area boasts picturesque parks, diverse culinary scenes, and rich cultural heritage. Renting a car in Verdun provides the freedom to explore its tree-lined streets, discover hidden gems, and venture beyond to Montreal's exciting attractions. With a rental car, you'll have the flexibility to experience Verdun's unique character at your own pace.

The trip went well. The car is in ok condition, but the owner was transparent about it. Given the price and last minute reservation — would recommend!

The car was great on fuel and the rental process was easy. While the sound system wasn't the best and it's got some nicks and dings (it's a 2015!), this car offered great value for the money and I'd be happy to rent this (or another vehicle) from Nate again!
The car was clean, comfortable, and very smooth to drive. It was excellent value for the price we paid. The host was friendly, respectful, and very easygoing, which made the whole rental experience stress-free. Thank you for everything! I would definitely rent from him again and highly recommend him to others.
Thank you for a great car rental!I love Prius! Got an old 2010 Prius when I left for college and have driven it across Canada and the US several times. Mohamad’s Prius is newer so it was more fuel efficient than mine and was helpful to have a back up camera. Bring your USB cord and phone holder then you’ll never be lost navigating the roads. Happy adventures awaits!
We had an amazing experience renting from this host! From the very beginning, he went above and beyond to make everything easy for us. Our Uber accidentally dropped my friend and me off at the wrong location, and he was kind enough to come pick us up without any hesitation. During our trip, we also had a very minor issue driving through a construction zone where some fresh road paint got on the tires. We let him know right away, and instead of making us worry, he was incredibly calm, reassuring, and simply said he was glad we were safe. That level of understanding was really appreciated. To top it off, he even extended our drop-off time by an hour, which made our travel day much less stressful. Overall, he was incredibly accommodating, communicative, and easy to deal with. The car was spotless, in perfect condition, and the ideal vehicle for our trip. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from him again and highly recommend booking with him!
excellent service, clean car and clear information during reservation and check-in
Absolutely amazing experience! The car was spotless, extremely comfortable, and drove beautifully. It’s a 2026 model, so it has all the latest features and made the whole trip even more enjoyable. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. Everything went smoothly, and I couldn’t have asked for a better rental experience. I would definitely rent from her again and highly recommend her to anyone!
Great car, an experience I won't forget. Moh was excellent with communications through the reservation (pre, during and post) and we felt very well taken care of at all times. I would certainly recommend booking with him.

Absolutely first-class experience renting from Julio. The car — a Tesla Model 3 — was in spotless condition, and the battery health is incredible. We drove from Montreal to Quebec City and the car made the trip extra special. Julio went the extra mile at every step. When we picked up the car, he walked us through all the features so we were comfortable from the start. He’d kitted it out with great accessories too — the waterproof floor liners were a really nice touch. He was super communicative throughout, helpful, and clearly runs a tight operation ably assisted with a great team! Highly, highly recommend Julio to anyone looking for a smooth, no-stress rental. We’d rent from him again in a heartbeat.

Host was very quick to respond and flexible with the rental. Car worked great with no issues and was good on gas. Would definitely rent it again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great rental experience! The owner was friendly, communicated well, responded quickly, and made both delivery and return easy and convenient. The car was clean inside and out. It has some normal cosmetic wear for its age and mileage, but it was still well-presented, easy to drive, maneuver, and park around Montreal. We did notice a sound while driving that may be worth checking, especially for longer trips, but it performed well for our city driving. Overall, a smooth and positive experience. We’d be happy to rent from this owner again!

Great car! It was clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. The pickup and return process were smooth, and the host was responsive and helpful. The Tesla was comfortable to drive and performed very well throughout my trip. I would definitely rent from this host again. Highly recommended!

This was an excellent rental experience. The car was very easy and enjoyable to drive, and the owner was very friendly. I would definitely rent from them again.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Ivan for an excellent long-term car rental experience. It was my first time renting a car for such a period, and everything went as smoothly and comfortably as possible. I rented the car for about three weeks. What stood out the most was that at the very beginning I made a mistake with the booking dates and arrived to pick up the car on the wrong day. Ivan immediately stepped in, contacted customer support himself, helped resolve the issue quickly, and made sure everything was corrected properly. Thanks to this, I was able to start my rental without any stress. Throughout the entire rental period, the car was in excellent condition — clean, well maintained, and very pleasant to drive. Overall, the service was at a very high level, everything was organized clearly and professionally. I can confidently recommend Ivan to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable car rental experience. From me — 10 out of 10.

Here’s a positive review you can post: I had a great experience with this car rental. The car was very smooth and comfortable to drive, and it was clean and well-maintained inside. The entire process was straightforward, and everything worked as expected. Said was also very helpful whenever I contacted him and responded quickly to my questions. Overall, a very positive experience, and I would definitely rent from him again.
The Lexus was absolutely amazing! It was very comfortable, smooth to drive, and looked beautiful. It had plenty of power and made every trip enjoyable. It was perfect for traveling or simply spending a relaxing weekend with family. Everything worked perfectly, and the car was clean and well maintained. Thank you for such a great experience. I would definitely rent it again!
Excellent Car - Neat and Clean Brijesh is an excellent guy… he was very patient in delivering the car and explained me the features in detail. The best thing… he gave the car with a full gas tank! Very trustworthy process of hiring a car from Turo with excellent hosts like Brijesh! I will definitely hire cars again from Brijesh, and will recommend everyone! Thank you, Brijesh!

Winter driving in Verdun and Quebec requires careful preparation. Ensure your rental car is equipped with winter tires, which are mandatory from December 1st to March 15th. Familiarize yourself with the vehicle's safety features, such as anti-lock brakes and traction control. Pack essential winter gear, including a snow brush, ice scraper, and warm clothing. Before setting out, clear all snow and ice from your car, including the roof, to maintain visibility. Drive slowly and increase your following distance on snowy or icy roads. Be particularly cautious on bridges and overpasses, which freeze more quickly. Lastly, check weather forecasts regularly and consider postponing your trip if severe conditions are expected.
In Verdun, parking regulations can be complex, so it's crucial to pay attention to signage. Street cleaning schedules often affect parking, with restrictions varying by day and season. Many residential areas require permits for overnight parking. In commercial zones, pay close attention to meter hours and time limits. During winter, snow removal operations may necessitate temporary parking bans on certain streets. It's advisable to use off-street parking facilities when possible, especially for extended periods. Always check for no-parking zones and fire hydrants before leaving your vehicle. Remember, regulations can change, so stay informed to avoid fines and ensure a smooth car rental experience in Verdun.

A compact SUV provides a good balance, handling city streets efficiently while offering comfort for rural excursions. These vehicles typically have good fuel economy and enough space for luggage and passengers. For urban areas, a smaller car like a hatchback can be ideal, making it easier to navigate narrow streets and find parking. If you plan extensive rural exploration, consider a vehicle with all-wheel drive for better traction on varied terrain. Electric vehicles are also becoming popular, with charging stations increasingly available in Quebec. Whatever your choice, ensure it suits your specific itinerary and comfort needs for an enjoyable Verdun adventure.

Many gas stations in Quebec are self-serve, so familiarize yourself with the payment system, which often accepts credit cards at the pump. Some stations may close earlier in smaller towns, so plan accordingly. Remember to check your rental vehicle's fuel type before filling up to ensure a smooth journey through the beautiful Quebec landscape.

Otherwise, you can pay online within 48 hours of crossing. For other major routes around Verdun, such as Autoroutes 20 and 40, there are no tolls.
