Unfortunately Matt wasn't able to meet at Heathrow at the start of rental, and I didn't have cell phone service where the vehicle was parked, so I had to walk to find a WiFi (at McDonald's) to open the LEVC VN5. Later had a tyre issue in a small-ish town, and had to connect Matt with the tyre shop to get things resolved (successfully). VN5 was great for putting our tandem bike in the back, and did great on petrol (over 40 mpg), no doubt due to the EV drive setup with petrol engine backup.
Unfortunately my entire family got Norovirus and I couldn’t travel to meet Mark as I had to care for them and didn’t want to spread it and ruin his holiday. It would have been nice to have a bit of compassion but not once did he express this.
Mark got a puncture for which he was responsible. Whilst the tyre was wearing low it was still legal and safe (the MOT had just been done). Turo rules are that the guest should pay but I paid £250 as a convenience to resolve his issue.

That’s not true at all. You took the car off road on to a gravel road (against Turo’s policies) and got it stuck. You returned it with mud everywhere including on the steering wheel.

Fantastic car and rental experience!! Matt was an unbelievably helpful owner who responded to my messages fast. And the van was an absolute dream! Super smooth ride with everything you need in a van. Would 100% recommend to rent if you want a stress free van rental experience.
