Risky and Unprofessional

The van is in a terrible state. Its a long list so I will focus on key concerns. Kush the handler seemed like a helpful person. The person that you speak on the phone is exactly opposite- rude and unprofessional. The van back door has two locking mechanism- one of which is broken so its such a huge risk if the door opens while you drive. There are heavy metal stuff jutting around which can create risk of injury while you move stuff in or out. The car claims features that it does not have. The dashboard info like petrol gauge does not work. Had to wait more than 30 mins both on pick up and drop (though on pick up I was late too- which I had given a heads up about in the chat without any response or acknowledgment)

I have used Turo for years. This has been the worst experience ever. Never getting vans on turo again!

Be careful before booking with this host; they are unprofessional and disregard your time. Please avoid this host if you value privacy, vehicle safety, and honest billing. Here is a summary of my experience:

Pickup: Despite pre-uploading my documents, the host waited until check-in to verify them. They also took an unauthorized photo of my license, claiming a "DVSA check." This violates Turo policy and is a major privacy invasion.

Condition: The van’s actual condition was poor compared to the listing photos. The rear door and camera were broken, and the "service required" light stayed on for the entire trip.

Drop-off: After driving only 32 miles, I returned the van fully fueled with a receipt. Despite this, the host claimed the tank, I suspect it was probably due to a faulty gauge. I paid the extra fees just to end the interaction.

Kush was amazing. Super helpful.
