Beach gear
This is an umbrella that screws into the ground. Perfect to use at the beach for some shade. Not as nice or nearly as large as having the full beach tent I have available for rent, but it’s smaller and easier to transport and it’s cheaper.

Camping tent
This is not a camping tent. It’s the closest option that Turo has though. This is for a large 10x10 pop up shade cover. You will need this is you decide to go to a beach and hang out all day. Really makes it enjoyable!

The Jeep is exactly as described. It being a bit older didn’t bother us a bit. This arguably made it more fun! It was very rainy during our time in Kauai so there were plenty of opportunities to get stuck in the mud when looking for some of the hidden beaches, but it was no problem. It was fun to put the top back when we had the chance, and easy to flip it back down when the rain started back up. As described, it is a tad leaky around the back window, but we just kept the snorkel gear there and kept the dry stuff further forward. Oh, and keep a hand on the back window when you prop it up because it won’t stay up for long! Seriously minor issues for such a fun ride. I hope it is still around when we come back!

This particular vehicle was a little rough around the edges, it leaks a bit through the soft top and doesn’t handle the greatest, all of which was disclosed by Mike before I rented it which I really appreciated. That being said it was a very fun, and enjoyable jeep to drive! Love the soft top and how easy it was to flip back the top when sunny and back when it started to rain, much easier and quicker that a hard top. Really appreciated all the information Mike gave about the jeep and how to easily get to and from the air by Turo shuttle
