The host failed to appear at the scene to conduct a proper handover and inspection process during the vehicle return; instead, I was instructed to drop the car keys off at a nearby convenience store.It was only five days after the vehicle was returned that the host informed me of alleged damages and demanded compensation.
Furthermore, the vehicle's interior was extremely dirty upon pickup, and the fuel level was already in the 'red zone' .

1) remote check out and check in is a common procedure on Turo platform.
2) interior was clean , car had literally just been valeted .
3) you verbally and in messages via whatsapp and turo messaging app admitted liability for damaging the front camera and was happy to settle privately . However due to no communication I escalated this to Turo .
