Battery issue from the very beginning
Sorry about the misunderstanding. As explained a couple of times, the message you got is not the starter battery. It was the hybrid system that was not fully charged. Guests don’t want to bother recharging the plug-in hybrid battery upon return of the car. So it’s best to leave it as a self charging hybrid system that fluctuates between various regen / charge levels whilst driving. To get free electricity. As you did on your 5 day rental. Hope this clarifies. Thanks for looking after the car!
