If you want a reliable vehicle, do NOT rent this Range Rover.
The problems stemmed from the vehicle going into restricted performance “limp mode” three separate times in less than a month, which means it could not drive more than to 20–30 mph and could barely make it up small hills while it was in this setting (which is apparently a safety feature of the car when there are mechanical issues). Each time, Josh took the car for repairs and when it was returned several days later, we were told the issue had been fixed and the vehicle was ready. It was not. The problem kept happening. And all the issues were mechanical, structural, or linked to the Range Rover’s computer systems… nothing to do with me.
The final breakdown occurred 30 minutes from home, forcing us to drive back at 20–30 mph, which was stressful and unsafe. So after multiple repairs and assurances that the vehicle was roadworthy, it continued to fail. Yet Josh continued to return it to us with assurances that the issues were “fully fixed.” That raises serious concerns about both the condition of the vehicle and the host’s judgment in continuing to rent it.
We were without a properly functioning vehicle for a total of 8 days during our reservation. In addition to that, because of the repeated breakdowns, we barely drove it when we did have it — we simply did not trust it. Our reservation on this car ended over 3 months early with the third and final mechanical breakdown.
If you want a safe and reliable vehicle, do NOT rent this one.

Had a great experience using Turo for the first time after my own car broke down. Josh was straightforward, professional, and very organized. He’s got some really nice luxury cars, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I even arrived earlier than the arranged time for collection, and it wasn’t a problem at all. Highly recommend!
