A disappointing experience I would not repeat.
During the trip I noticed a brake issue and reported it to the host straight away, because that seemed like the honest thing to do. In person, the host assured me he would not raise a claim. He then filed one anyway accusing me of reckless driving, which is untrue and which I am now disputing through Turo.
He also raised a parking ticket I had already told him about myself a payment keying error, not a driving offence which I had committed to sorting from the start.
The lesson from this trip: keep all communication in the Turo app, because a verbal promise from this host did not hold. Honest reporting and upfront communication were met with accusations rather than good faith. Future guests should document everything carefully at check-in and check-out.

The brake pads are completely worn out. Initially I didn't notice in a hurry only thought maybe it's a minor thing. But while completing the check in when I tried to start the engine again, I could actually feel the brake pad going all the way in even on a stand still. Please don't drive if you don't know how to. I had trusted your comments earlier but when I stepped on the brake pads again I could immediately make out that there's more to what's being told. My car's condition is appalling.
Had a fantastic experience with this car hire. The car itself was immaculate and packed with great features — the adaptive cruise control made driving incredibly smooth and effortless, especially on longer journeys. Everything felt easy and comfortable from start to finish.
A special mention to Satyam, who was an excellent host throughout. Very accommodating, responsive, and genuinely helpful, making the whole process seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend and would definitely hire again!
