I had a very disappointing experience. On 20 July 2026, I picked up the car at 9:00 a.m. At around 4:00 p.m., after parking, we discovered that the rear tyre had been punctured. There was no spare tyre, tyre repair kit, or sealant in the car and we were in an area with no mobile signal, making it impossible to contact roadside assistance immediately.
Once we found a signal, we had to wait approximately three hours for breakdown assistance.
The recovery driver who collected the car also told us that the front tyre was bald and unsafe to use. We reported this concern to the host.
Despite having Premier Protection, I have now received a reimbursement invoice for £146.24. When I contacted Turo, the representative was unable to clearly explain what Premier Protection actually covered or why we were still required to pay this charge despite having purchased it. This made the experience even more frustrating.
