Everything was perfect. Lovely drive!

The car was below the standard I expected. The air conditioning was not functioning properly, and during a rainy weekend the windshield defogger did not work, which made visibility challenging. The speakers were also not operational. At higher speeds on the highway, the car tended to pull slightly to the left, and there were noticeable creaking sounds when turning, which suggested the vehicle may not have been well maintained. Overall, the drive was not particularly comfortable.
In terms of the pickup experience, the details were shared about 45 minutes before the trip, despite earlier requests to receive them the day prior. When I arrived at the lockbox, the key was not there, and I had to contact the host to resolve the issue. To their credit, the host did mention they were having a busy day, so this may have been a one-off communication issue.
Overall, based on my experience, I would be hesitant to rent this car again
None of the issues you report are true, besides the sound system which I apologise for. UK roads are at a camber and cars will lll slightly to road camber, roads are not flat.
You booked the car at 2am cor a 6am pickup the same day, key is not left in the box unless there is a booking due to security reasons.
During your return I witnessed more passengers than the legal limit / there were additions two children sitting on laps.
The car was extremely messy and smelled awful on return.

Great communication and the car was huge. Was able to move in one go!
Would recommend. Warning car is 4wd and turning circles is poor for tight turns, but also not an issue - just avoid small spaces 😂
