The owner was very responsive and delivered the car - so convenient! Unfortunately the car smelled perfumey and as if it was trying to cover up a smoke smell. I only noticed it every time I got in car for a couple minutes, but it wasn’t great.

The smell you have noticed it’s from the air freshener perfume.
I just picked a random one from car wash. Sorry if that air freshener doesn’t please you.
