Drive a Rolls-Royce

Live like a high-roller

Rolls-Royce represents the apex of luxury and class in the automotive landscape. Created from the finest blend of German engineering and British refinement, this luxury car company’s every offering boasts a regal atmosphere, cavernous space, and supreme isolation over the road.

Normally, Rollers are reserved for the likes of world leaders, pro athletes, and hip-hop artists, but if you’ve got a special event coming up and want to make a splash, rent a Rolls-Royce here on Turo to experience the pinnacle of luxury.

Back seat palaces

It’s possible to drive your own Rolls-Royce, but for the most authentic experience, the back seat is where it’s at. While being chauffeured in the palatial cocoon of a Rolls-Royce’s back row, every possible desire is fulfilled with exceptional space and comfort, along with high-tech amenities and extravagant features that simply don’t exist in common luxury vehicles.

The finest materials

With Rolls-Royces being the epitome of style, only the very best materials will do. Their exceptional interiors are splashed with exotic hardwoods, metals, acres of the finest leather, gold leaf trim — whatever the buyer desires. The Rolls-Royce Phantom even comes with custom-commissioned artwork on the dash.

V12 power

As befitting automobiles wearing price tags north of $300,000, all Rolls-Royce models are powered exclusively by V12 engines (with twin turbochargers). These motors provide mountains of performance to move any Rolls-Royce at an impressive pace, accompanied by the unparalleled smoothness and aural satisfaction inherent to the V12’s superior design.

Red carpet extravagance

There’s nothing more swanky than pulling up to the curb at a special event in the back of a Rolls-Royce, especially in somewhere like Miami Beach, Hollywood, or Las Vegas. Stepping out of the automatic suicide doors makes every arrival feel like you’re on the red carpet. If you’ve got a special date, party, or fancy occasion coming up, rent a Rolls-Royce on Turo to make a splash on your big night.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan

Though Charles Rolls and Frederick Henry Royce might find the shape unfamiliar, the Cullinan marks a successful effort to bring Rolls-Royce’s opulence, swiftness, and pillowy ride quality into a new body style. The twin-turbo V12 makes short work of the Cullinan’s three tons, and its adaptive air suspension can make adjustments on the fly to deliver a cloud nine ride. And with the Cullinan standing six feet in stature, its driver can look down on others in more ways than one.

Rolls-Royce Wraith

If you travel alone or with one companion, why not enjoy the Rolls-Royce experience with the exclusive style and intimacy of a coupe? While the Wraith does possess rear seats, this grand tourer is all about pampering its main occupants with features like an 18-speaker stereo, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and seats with heating and massage functions.

Rolls-Royce Ghost

This may be the entry-level model, but Rolls-Royce’s entry point stands above where most automakers exit. Only slightly less enormous than the Phantom, the Ghost offers the same 563-horsepower V12, along with the added traction of all-wheel-drive. Also familiar is the Ghost’s otherworldly isolation, stylish Coach doors, and an imperious presence on the road.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to rent a car on Turo?

To rent a car on Turo, you must create a Turo account, be 18 years old or older in the US, 21 years old or older in the UK, 23 years old or older in Canada, have a valid driver’s license, and get approved to drive on Turo. In France you must be 18 years old or older and have held a driver’s license for at least two years, longer for certain makes and models of vehicles. When you’re booking your first trip, you’ll go through a quick approval process by entering your driver’s license and some other information. In most cases, you’ll get approved immediately, and you’ll be set for future road trips, business trips, and family vacations!

Do I need my own insurance?

No, you don’t need personal insurance coverage to rent a car on Turo.

In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your protection plan, except in limited situations for trips booked in Maryland. When renting a car in the US, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier, Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of coverage that’s right for you. With each plan, you’re covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.*

In New York state, you’ll also choose between Premier, Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.** Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.

When renting a car in Canada, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier, Standard, or Minimum — and with each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance purchased from Economical Insurance Company in Alberta, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec, and Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) in British Columbia — up to $2,000,000 for all plans.***

When renting a car in the United Kingdom, you’ll also choose between the Premier, Standard, and Minimum protection plans. Each plan includes different limits of financial responsibility for physical damage, but all three plans include up to £20,000,000 coverage under a third-party automobile liability insurance policy provided by Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance UK Ltd. via Turo broker Aon UK Ltd.***

How can I drive unlimited miles during my trip on Turo?

Some hosts offer unlimited distance for a trip; others set a daily distance limit. On the vehicle pages, you’ll see the total miles or kilometres you’re allowed to drive under the heading “Distance included.” You can find cars offering unlimited mileage with every trip by using the “Unlimited distance” filter.

What payment methods does Turo accept?

Turo accepts most credit cards issued by major financial institutions, including American Express and Discover cards, as well as debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo that are linked to a checking account.

Apple Pay and Google Pay on mobile devices are also accepted, but Turo does not accept cash or checks as valid payment methods.

What is the cancellation policy for guests on Turo?

You can cancel and get a full refund up to 24 hours before your trip starts. If you book a trip with less than 24 hours’ notice, you have one hour after booking to cancel free of charge. If you cancel after the free cancellation period ends, you will be charged a small cancellation fee.

What are the cleaning and safety policies on Turo?

Under the enhanced cleaning policy, hosts are required to clean and disinfect their vehicles thoroughly before every trip, so you can feel safe and comfortable behind the wheel. Turo hosts have access to training materials on enhanced cleaning practices, using the latest recommendations compiled from the CDC, EPA, WHO, and vehicle detailing experts, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Is Turo a rental car company?

No. Unlike rental car companies, Turo is a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace where you can rent directly from trusted local car owners in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and France. Turo does not own any vehicles — Turo hosts share their own personal cars and set their own prices, discounts, vehicle availability, and delivery options.

Is there a fee to add additional drivers to my trip?

There is no fee or additional charge for adding a driver to your trip on Turo. Only the guest who booked the trip (primary driver) can request to add drivers; Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add authorized drivers before your trip starts, though guests in the US and Canada can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress with no extra charges. The primary driver must be present to pick up the rental car.

To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.

Why are Rolls-Royces so expensive?

Luxury features are found throughout their cabins, with amenities like rear seat air conditioning and picnic tables, powered footrests, lambswool mats, handcrafted wood veneers, and a generous helping of sound deadening material.
