The car itself was fine — clean and as described. Everything else was a disaster.
At pick-up, I arrived on time and no one was there. After 5 unanswered calls, I finally got a reply on the Turo app saying they had a phone problem (the mobile was ringing perfectly well) and would be 1.5 hours late. Once he eventually dropped the car off, he had the nerve to ask me to drive him to the station.
During the trip, the tyre pressure was low and needed attention.
At drop-off, the driver said he would be there by 9:45 at the latest — already 45 minutes past the agreed return time. He was late even to that, so I had no choice but to leave the key on the wheel and go.
I requested compensation for all the inconvenience and received no response.
The car is good but this host is unreliable, unprofessional and unresponsive. I would not rent from them again and cannot recommend.

Pick up was late which unfortunately left me and my baby to have to wait in a local cafe for a few hours. Slow. Responses. No compensation for my wasted time. Only good thing was that the car was clean and nice.

Thank you for your review. Car was late due to vehicle not being returned by other Turo guest. We totally understand it’s unacceptable, however we had no option but to wait for the vehicle.
Compensation could potentially be returned by Turo as it’s their responsibility to ensure guest return cars on time.
As a host there was nothing we could have done to help in the situation.
